Because over the years we've pruned inactive user accounts. So 15,738 have registered, but there are 12,608 current accounts.

Nope, we were short on server space years ago so had to delete a bunch. There are 280 banned accounts, but most of them are spammers/robots.

Per4sonally I'm glad it has come to 15, 736. I wasn't in favour of the bracelet, why would an ankle bracelet have any reference. Also if Buffy-Boards did go for a 666 number surely that member would have to be in the House of the Black Thorn due to its links to the Senior Partners rather than the good people of the house of Sineya.
