'24' (Spoilers for UK)

the movie is leaning towards a prequel

Where did you hear that dude?

I've always been under the impression that the movie would follow on from the series. I'm pretty sure the producers have stated this.

I think its safe to say that Jack will survive this day. But perhaps his imminent killing spree after Renne's death will land him in prison.

I think that would be a cool jumping-off point for the movie.

Still, as far as prequel ideas go, it would be great to see Palmer, Tony and Michelle come back. Or maybe even a movie based around the events of Operation: Nightfall, which took place before season one. =P

About a month ago I read an interview with Keifer (can't remember where) but they talked about the movie. He said "no movie until the series is over" this was when there was a possibility of a season 9.
But he did say that in discussions with writers the tv format of 24 will not corelate to the big screen. And they want to get away from the US so they are looking at a European setting/shooting. He said it's not concrete but they are leaning towards a prequel.

OMFG!!! Jack has gone absolutely rogue!! I have to admit I was sort of hoping that Cole was going to kill Walsh...how cool would it have been to see Buffy's husband kill Starbuck? lol
The last 4 hours looks like it's going to be anything goes with a huge chance of Jack loosing his mind and going kamakazee!!! Now all I want to see is Logan get his dues.

Last night's episode was absolutely brilliant. And what an ending!

I'd really love to see Aaron Pierce come back though. He's been in every single season as a running joke, I wan to see him come back for one more "Charles" moment before the show ends.

I also heard a pretty HUGE spoiler about the final episode which, if true, all I can say is Ho-Lee-Shit.

Hey it would be great if Aaron takes Logan down, and maybe out...permanently. That little weasel deserves that kind of ending to his character. lol
Don't under any circumstance let any spoilers leak please! I want to enjoy every WTF, OMFG, LOL, ROFL that this show is going to give!

Ha ha, I wouldn't do that.

But speaking recurring characters, I'd love to see that mysterious, sexy, naked, lesbian assassin return. She's been a major antagonist throughout the whole series and the last time we saw her was back in Season 4 I think.

There isn't a single movie or TV show around that wouldn't benefit from having a mysterious, sexy, naked, lesbian assassin in it. Oh yeah.

He actually gutted a guy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone has gone completely off the reservation is re-defining rogue agent! And I love it!!!!!
Why after 8 years am I all giddy that Jack Bauer is going medieval on people? I guess after all the torture he's endured, loss of family, killing his own family, and constantly being pulled back in it's like poetic justice. I mean he has gone totally against all his principles of bringing people to justice to answer to their crimes and is summarily executing them.
Only 3 hours to go and I just get the feeling Jack is just getting warmed up.

Jack is back!

The torture scene was such a great performance. I like Kiefer now even more. He is such a brilliant actor. I felt every emotion he was going through.

Finally! I hope Logan gets what he deserves. I hate him so much and he needs to pay for everything he has done. I´m a huge fan of Taylor but she acts like Logan 2.0 now and i don´t like it a bit. To bad there is no Ethan anymore to bring her back to her old self. Maybe Jack should "handle" her too. 🙂

Next episode:
Jack in a full body armor hunting Logan down. Looks like it´s going to be one of the best episodes ever in the history of 24.
I´m so excited to bad i have to wait till next monday.

This weeks episode kicked so much ass! I love how Jack is constantly one step ahead of his pursuers.

And watching him get revenge on that Ruskie sniper was great stuff.

Pliers? Check.

Lighter fluid? Check.

Blowtorch? Check.

Knife? Check.

Gutting you open to retrieve a SIM card? Epic BadAss Win!

The look on Jack's face when he realised Logan is behind all this was priceless. Logan is a dead man.

After a slow burning start to the season, 24 is really going out with a bang.

Hell Yeah!
OMFG Jack Bauer is Jason!!! He moved like a robot thru that tunnel smoked out Logan and got away with him. OK I have to give the actor who plays Logan major props, his shriek of fear was a cross between a wounded animal about to be killed and a little girl.
When Jack choked out Logan I was screaming "shoot the ******!" The when all we saw was the dead bodies in the the Russian douchebag's lair I thought what, hey how come we didn't see that? Then the listen in at the end...did not see that one.
The finale looks like it's going to be, wait for it...epic!!! I really want to see Logan catch a bullet between the eyes, that weasly little sob. That actor is going to get another Emmy nod he plays sniveling little PR real good.

LOL! The scene in the Russian hotel looked like something out of a Jason moive! XD
After all the excitement of the past few weeks I was kinda expecting things to tone down a little before next week's finale.

But holy shit that was awesome! It just gets better and better!

OMFG Jack Bauer is Jason!!

Ha ha! Jack looked a cross between Darth Vader and Iron Man in that riot gear. Thats got to go down as one of 24's best ever moments - with Jack tooled-up like a one-man-army and Logan howling in fear "Thats..... JACK BAUER! He's coming for ME!!!". Brilliant, brilliant stuff.

Jack Vader or Jason Bauer?

I wish we could have seen Jack tearing the Russian hotel suite apart, killing everyone in the room and ramming that poker through that ruskie bastard's chest. But the cut to the aftermath of the carnage was much more effective, not to mention as badass as hell.

Jack Fact #421:
Jack NEVER loses at Poker

Jack really has become completely unhinged and seems to travelling down a road he can never return from.

I'm looking forward to next week's two-hour finale far much more that LOST's finale at the moment. For the first time in what feels like ages, I really have no idea whats going to happen......

The really stupid thing when Jack Vader blew out a hole in the windshield to drop in the smoke grenade he put his foot over the hole. Dumb secret service guy had a chance to blow a hole in this foot. Highly doubt Jack hac steel plated soles on his shoe.
The last 5 hours of the show have been so off the reservation that if the finale in anyway goes into a lull it is so going to ruin the ending of this series. I want full blown, huge body count, and weasley politicians face their maker...Jack Bauer. Nothing better then a dedicated man to his country going completely crazy.

Holy goddamn Jesus! Its almost time for the last ever 24! The end of an era!

The close-out of this series has been nothing short of spectacular. And I've been more excited about 24 this week than I have about the LOST finale, which is something I didn't think possible.

I hope this is a truely epic ending! DAMMIT!

Well just finished watching the 24 finale and all I got to say is "hey Lost that's how you end a series"!!! Will discuss more but need some shut eye.

Floris there is nothing 'solid' yet but there has been tons of talk about it. The main theme I have heard about the movie is they want to shoot it in Europe and there was a little bit of talk about a prequel, but Keifer is showing his age so don't see that happening.
After the finale I think we are going to see a movie along the lines of "See Jack Run".

So maybe the nefarious plot in Europe is going to be against the Russian Prez? It will be cool if the IRK help Jack go after the Russians. That would be a total flip of the early seasons of 24. It was always Jack against extreme muslims.
Hey that wouldn't be a bad jump off point for the movie...Jack and his family in the IRK being protected and Jack and Chloe heading up a 24 Muslim style to bring down the Russians.
About the finale one thing I really loved and forgot all about since the first two hour premiere all those years ago the show was done in 'real time'. It was a nice trip down memory lane and a beautiful touch to the finale for the viewers.
