I just wanted to send a message of love and kindness into cyberspace.
I have just spent the last minute in silence as it was the 6th anniversary of the Attack on WTC by terrorists.
On top of that, i'm looking at news papers, watching news bulletins and reading internet articles about all the bad things in the world and it saddens me.
It saddens me because the world is full of beauty, its full of good and it's full of decency, but this is rarely seen as it doesn't make for gripping news.
I'm tired of seeing the bad. I'm tired of having to 'fight' to be seen as a good person. This isn't how it should be.
That is why I want to start a thread.
I want everyone to post in here once a day, I want them to post one random act of kindness.
It doesn't have to be huge, it can be something small - but it has to have happened.
I believe that the more kindness you show, the more you will be given.
It may not make the headlines change, but it will make your life a little nicer.
I'll start by saying a random one I did today.
I helped someone carry her luggage up the stairs at Victoria Tube Station because I could see she was struggling.
Its not huge, but it was something.
ps - don't limit yourself to one random act either🙂
