A Tribute to Andy

There's nothing I can say to make things ok. The world has truly lost a bright shining star far to early. I am deeply saddened, and deeply sorry for your loss.

I just learned of Andy's death today. It's so sad to die so young... he was so talented, and I looked forward to seeing him in other things since his "Angel" character, Lorne. This really breaks my heart.

RIP, Andy. We will remember you!
 
Andy managed to do what every actor hopes to do. To create a character that you needed to see. That you loved, and that made every scene memorable. From his first appearance, he was a must-see character. His humor, heart and voice made him pivotal to the show. And with each passing episode a new side was shown.
Andy seemed like a kind, sweet, funny man, and I know I will miss him greatly. For those who were blessed to know him, his family and friends, I wish you all the strength that you need to get through this difficult time, and I am truly sorry for your loss.
Please know he will always be remembered. Rest In Peace Andy.

I never had the pleasure of meeting Andy personally, however after watching him on Angel the Series and hearing about how much he took the time to show his appreciation to his fans, he quickly became a celebrity that really did I admire. His acting ability was incredible; he took a role and made the character his own in such a short amount of time. His voice, when it was showcased on the show, just blew me away. And I think what really got me is that through all of the publicity and conventions and this quick shot to stardom, Andy still seemed like a genuine, warm, down to earth kind of guy.

He will, without a doubt, be dearly missed. My condolences to the friends and family of Andy: his life was cut far too short, but the light that he brought to others will be remembered.

Andy Hallett was an amazing actor who was brilliant as Lorne. He also had a fantastic singing voice.

Having just come back from a con, I'm remembering the others cons I've been to where Andy was such an amazing guest, laughing, joking and of course singing with the attendees. I still look at the photo that I had done with him and wish I could have seen him again.
 
I'd like to think that life is what you make it and Andy has obviously made his incredible. He was a very talented soul and it is an awful shame that he's no longer with us. I wish him peace and love wherever he may be.
