Okay, so the sad person that is me, worked out that today is exactly a year since I first saw Buffy.

It's so weird it seems in a way like less than that, and in a way more.

I don't know what I did with my life before Buffy, since now basically all I do is watch Buffy, come on the Buffy Boards and go on Buffy roleplays, plus occasionally read Buffy books.

So, yeah, it's been an entire year, yay me =P

yeah same. i can't imagine a day without buffy. it's hard to believe what i did before her lmao

I know, I honestly can't remember what I did before watching the show =P

I don't remember how long I've been a Buffy fan, I think since 2005, so maybe two years? I had seen the show several times before that but never liked it, and I liked Angel more...

I certainly don't watch the show everyday, though.

I don't need to test it, I know that I couldn't ever get sick 😛

You should try giving some other shows and movies a try, there are plenty out there that are very good. 🙂

Check out Firefly, if you havent.
I watch House (but not really emotionally invested in it), but I'm loving a couple of Aussie shows atm 'Chaser's War on Everything' (type in 'chaser stunt' in google, very funny) and 'Summer Heights High'.. 'Kath and Kim'

I've been thinking about watching Firefly, two questions; what's it about, and what channel is it on?

yeah, i got into buffy i think summer 2004. i started watching because i was bored during the day and it came on at 12 & 1pm in the afternoon on FX, and that was about the time when i woke up (being a high school student at the time, hehe) and i just started randomly surfing the channels and came across buffy one afternoon. i was hooked the entire summer, and i even started waking up early when school started to watch it at 6 & 7am in the mornings. then it cut back to only 6am and i got pissed! haha. one less hour of buffy was not good. i remember this one time at 6am 'tabula rasa' was going to be on, <my fav episodes at the time> (i would always set my alarm in the mornings to wake up just 5 minutes or so before the episodes started, and by this point my mom knew- in her opinion- that i had become scarily obsessed with the show) anyways, i didnt hear my alarm or i forgot to set it or something, so somehow i shot up out of bed and sprinted downstairs, half tripping down the stairs in the process, and rushed to the tv. i had missed the teaser for the episode, and i had just broke down crying. i was just really upset, and my mom came in and tried to calm me down, not understanding why i should be so upset over missing like 8 minutes of the episode. i couldn't really explain it to her, and i dont think i still can, but i just loved the show SO much i didnt ever want to miss any of it (even if i had seen it before).

but the whole point of this was that i too cannot remember what i did before i started watching buffy. its a huge part of my daily life. i watch it all the time, but not to the point where i might get tired of it, because i also DONT want to test that theory. i love it too much to ever want to get sick of it.

I watch Heroes too

that's a great show!! i watch it all the time, and i can't wait till the next season starts! 🙂

you should try watching 'how i met your mother', if you don't already. it's so amazingly cute! aly hannigan's in it and does a fantastic job. it's just about to start its 3rd season in like 2 weeks.

If you're in England I have no idea. It's only 12 episodes (Joss show). I bought the boxset in order to watch it, but you should be able to rent it out at the video store.
It's a sci-fi/western/comedy/drama kinda show 😛 Brilliant, I love it.

Yep, I am in England *Mutters* Stupid England. It's were they make Gileses. Sorry, I had a moment...and now it's gone 😛

Sounds...confusing 😛

U

gileses?? ahaha
Firefly is okay, it's my least favorite Joss Whedon show. My mom thinks it's the best show ever made. Literally. She *hates* Buffy though. And she likes to watch Angel sometimes. I don't get her.

Firefly turns up on the Sci-Fi channel in the UK every now and again, I don't think it's on a set timetable though. Your best bet would be to buy it, it's totally worth it though, you won't regret it.
