And I think ads charge by the letter so people try to use the least amount of letters to spell out the message. W/a means with a, w/o is with out. I still don't like it though. I don't think any other episode had word spelling in the title.

No, I hate 🙄 and 😉 as much as I hate "kewl" "TXT" talk. At least we have a rule against U people and UR abbrev.

I think like SMG and DB are more acceptable, but I'm not a mod and don't enforce the rules. I've seen it done with CC, AH, NB, JM & AH in the past. It can be confusing sometimes; especially when people also abbreviate board members names.
I'm glad people here aware of the amount of non-native English speakers here! I'm a non-native myself and I remember that I used to struggle a lot with this kind of stuff back in the day! It took me years to figure out the difference between your and you're because people made those mistakes too often.
I think they do. I've seen a few and it really confused me. I forget who the member was but the abbreviation was MT and I thought for sure they were talking about Michelle Trachtenberg, it was really confusing.
