Academy Awards

Supplementary Oscar: Best Dressed Presenter

By my scorecard so far:

Angelina Jolie
Julie Roberts
(and believe it or not) Oprah Winfrey

Loved that snip of Sean Penn in Mystic River. I'm ready to give him the oscar right now.

Best song is going to be tough. Nothing really sticks out. I'm choosing the one from a Mighty Wind, though.

haha will ferrel and jack black were hilarious! that was funny! and yay LOTR again!

Lord of the Rings is going to sweep. Wouldn't it blow your mind if it came to Best Pictue, and it lost?!!! It won't though.

Do you think we'll ever see a Buffy person at the Oscars?

Maybe Joss.

LotR won in all eleven categories it was nominated in, which makes this the best scoring movie at the oscars together with Ben-Hur and Titanic.

So what do you think of these results, fair? What would you liked to have seen differently?

I'm so pleased that LOTR got all those awards 😀 It was being shown live on BBC, so I set the tape for it, since it was from around midnight until 5am. Sadly I set it to the wrong channel 🙁 And missed the whole thing!

oo that is soo cool that LOTR won all of those awards!! i think that the last samurai should have won some as well though.
i was gonna watch it but it was on too late so im gonna catch the clips of it tonight.

There's a highlights show tonight on BBC1 at 10.35.

I was surprised (but also pleased) to see LOTR do a clean sweep - the Academy must be making up for not giving anything to the first two😉 I must get round to watching the second disc of "The Two Towers" sometime soon or I'll have forgotten what happened on the first disc🙂

Nice to see "Finding Nemo" get the best animated film award - it was my fave from last year.

I'm glad that LotR won all those awards! Would have liked to have seen Johnny Depp get best leading Actor for Pirates of the Caribbean though! He was really good in that!
