All Things Tara

I cried at the end of season 5 when buffy died. The music was so sad w her slow moment run. Shes v brave. Thinking it comes w the whole slayer deal.

Yeah but Willow and Tara and Joyce were never seen in a scene together, were they

They were once. It was in Buffy vs. Dracula when Willow and Tara are charming the house so Dracula can't get back in.

JOYCE: He seemed so nice and normal. A little pale.
WILLOW: A good Sunnydale rule of thumb? Avoid white-skinned men in capes.
JOYCE: I'm not like this. I don't invite strange men over for coffee, it's just ... Oh, when you girls are older you'll understand. It's hard to date. Sometimes you just ... feel like giving up on men altogether.
(Willow and Tara sneak little looks at each other and try not to grin.)

So obviously, they probably told Joyce that they were lesbians right after that because the "Joyce sending Dawn to her room" incident happened after that. I think that it was just that Joyce was still getting over the shock of finding out that Willow is a lesbian, and then to have her daughter come up and say that to her? Joyce was just wigging out like Buffy. You have to understand that Joyce was more of a mom figure to Willow and no parent expects to find out that their kid is gay. I think we should cut Joyce a little more slack.

My favorite thing about Tara is that she somehow managed to make me fall in love with her without me noticing (and even though I was a huge Willow/ Oz fan, and at first I was all bitter that Tara was "replacing" him, lol).

She's so sweet and caring, and funny in a subtle way, that by season 6 I absolutely loved her! In fact, as of this moment I think she's my favorite character. So yeah...yay for Tara!

I happen to love Tara, and she's one of my favourites. I forget what episode this is, but I think in season 5, when the whole gang were in the dorm room unpacking (or packing? can't remember), and Tara was trying to make a funny joke but nobody got it. And Tara just left the room feeling left out. I felt bad for her. 🙁

But I loved the part when Buffy stood up for Tara in Family saying they'd have to go through her, and then Dawn, and Giles. It made me tear up so bad. 😛

It's one of my favorite moments of the show! It was so heart warming.

Anyway, I don't dislike Tara, but I think she's a little flat character. I've said it before, she was only Willow's girlfriend, and compared to other character she didn't get enough depth, and that was too bad. I also wish she was a little bit less sweet. She's TOO sweet and likeable! I would have loved to see her mean! Some other directions other than Willow's girlfriend who's a witch. They shoud've shown us more sides of her so he wouldn't be that flat.

I'm watching the Zeppo and thinking
Why didn't Willow use the same magic that the dead guy and his grandfather used to bring back Tara?

I mean, their issues were similar.

Those guys were zombies. I'm sure Willow wouldn't want a zombie Tara 😀
