I love your banners. They are amazing. I really like the cangel wall as well. Banners are defintiely a weak spot of mine, with wallpapers I can make layouts I like and work with it, but I find that hard with banners, you have so much less space and room to work with. They are much more difficult than they look. So awesome job!

I see the Firefly addiction hit you 😀

I really love your new banners, especially the Jayne one. I love the sandy-gritty feeling it gives, which quite matches the episode, hilarious scene and you captured that moment very well. Same goes for the Mal banner. I did a banner with nearly the exact same images, but yours is a lot better than mine. Nice use of brushes here.

I love the light coloring and etheric mood the River banner displays, it suits her well. I love the fonts and how you positioned them. Maybe I would erase the texture/brush over Rivers face to the left (over her mouth) but other than that, lovely.

On your River wall: I love the coloring and the lighting you have going in this piece, very beautiful. The way you emphasized her name with the round brushswing is awesome .. sometimes its the small things like that, that make a piece really cool. The only thing that bugs me is that the top of Rivers head seems to be missing 🙂 its too strong blended into the background, maybe less blending/masking or clone the top of her head and part of her hair back again.

I really love your art, edb ! Keep it coming 🙂

All of your work reigns sweetie- But I have to say I'm seriously drooling over the "she understands" banner. It really just jumps right off the screen. Absotively fabulous work on it all.....But then thats no change! *wink*:silly:
 
Wow! Great job edb! I'm not a huge firefly fan, but I liked the one banner (on page 14, the "she understands" one?), the pictures and everything are clear AND coloured, which can be tricky to pull off at times. Also love the blackish river piece you have, it blends soooo nicely (the picture into the background, that is), and the shade of blue is really powerful. :thumbsup:

Thanks! And oh hell yeah, I ADORE Firefly now!! I think I can see now why you only do scenes/moments etc that have an impact etc on you - it's easier then to create something! 🙂

Thanks! 😀 I still have the PSD file so will try that - I kept erasing it off her face, then putting it back and fading it 'lol'

Hehe...thanks, I just had a sudden wave of inspiration to use that brush to emphasize her name - I'd added it on a new layer, and was moving it around, and quite by accident put it by her name, and it hit me to use it there 'lol'

I think my monitor settings must be brighter than yours as I can see her head quite clearly though 'lol' I had to go and check but I can see all her hair and everything - guess that's just one of those things - it's like when I'm at my mum's and using her PC to show her something I've made, the colour and darkness are a fair bit different to mine at home, I will go back and adjust it though in case I'm in the minority seeing her head/hair 'lol' 😀
