Am I the only one who absolutely loved Andrew's addition to the group in S7? I'm rewatching everything and I'm in the middle of S7 right now, everytime he's on screen I laugh. Just now it was "I'm bored...Episode I bored." I can't help but love this character and the comdey he brings to the season.
 
I love Andrew.. and im really glad he was brought into Season 7... not to mention the last season of Angel! He is hell funny, and when him and Anya are together its just even more aweosme!..

i love the wheelchair fight scene heh x
 
Andrew is one of my favorite characters. I'm in the middle of season 7 right now as well, and I love just about everything that comes out of his mouth. If I didn't see him as so childlike and sexually immature I'd love to see him and Anya together. lol
 
lol... childlike and sexually immature, yet still able to completly turn me on!

I loved Andrew. He's is my dream man! Long live NERDS!

I was just watching Fairytales again, Andrew's star episode, and when he was having his dreams in Mexico there was a quick flash of the cheese man from Season 4 in restless. i dunno why but i found that hilarious.

One of my favorite Andrew sequences is from Episode 9, "Never Leave Me", where he buys all the pig's blood from the butcher shop and then as he turns to leave he finds himself facing Willow, from whom he flees in terror. The two of them are so funny in the alley when he's pleading for his life, telling her that he didn't kill Tara, that she got her revenge by killing Warren and that he's not evil anymore. When she asks him why he was buying all the blood he changes his tune and tries to bluff his way out, telling her how powerful he is and to "stand down, she-witch!" I love Willow cutting him off with "Shut your mouth!"

Then the interrogation Anya and Xander conduct with him at the house is just SO funny. The good cop/bad cop thing is great. I was quite disappointed when it all got interrupted by crazy Spike.
 
During season 6 I didn't like him that much. But in season 7, he's one of my favorites. He's SOOOO funny, always makes me laugh. brilliant character! So I'm so glad they kept him.
 
I loved andrew, He was an excellent character. He was so funny in season 6 with his 'gayness' towards Warren, any made an excellent addition to the cast in season 7! It was nice to see Xander with a 'Friend'
 
I just can't think of Andrew as gay. I don't think of him as straight, either, though. Like I said before, I think he's too immature to be anything like that, and I can't see him in a romantic relationship with anyone. To me it seemed like he was attracted more to the power than anything, and he was just...too affectionate towards his "idols" or whatever, like Warren.

Oh, today I watched "Storyteller", and I loved the scene between Andrew and Anya when Anya says "Why can't you just masturbate like the rest of us?". Of course, Andrew didn't have much to say in that exchange but I started laughing hysterically...Anya's delivery, Andrew sitting on the toilet, the cut to the title sequence...classic Buffy moment.

Also, I thought that episode added a lot to Andrew's character, especially at the end when he thinks Buffy is going to kill him. But WHY did he kill Jonathan if he knew Warren wasn't Warren? How stupid.
 
I have mixed feelings towards Andrew. I actually love him as a character and enjoyed his guest appearances in Angel but I also think his late addition to the Buffy cast in season seven was a large part (if not the main reason) of why the core Scoobies ended up mostly sidelined for a large part of the season. Especially Xander, who was all but replaced by Andrew.

A lot of people blame the Potentials for taking up too much space in the final season but if you really watch you will see that it was Andrew that really hogged the spotlight. Great character but one who came along at the wrong time, for me.
 
I grew pretty tired of Xander several seasons ago. Andrew can't help it he's much funnier and entertaining than Xander. 🙂

The dull as hell Xander/Anya geting married storyline in season six (the worst part of that season, in my opinion) didn't help my feelings on either character but I still really liked them both and tend to think that they deserved more exposure in the final year. Again, Xander especially.
 
I have mixed feelings toward Andrew as well... There were some episodes i found him funny like in the episode Story Teller, then agian he was pretty annoying in alot of episodes as well. Although everytime he talks about being "evil" i cant help but almost roll out of my chair laughing. I think when he was on screen with Anya and Spike those we're his funniest moments, and a few times when he was with dawn. So he has a Funny/Annoying thing going on kinda like a kid brother.
 
Well I think you're supposed to laugh at the idea of Andrew being evil. The writers were definitely not ever trying to make you think he was a real, serious, evil threat.

And even if he did do evil things, I can't accept him as evil, once again because of they way he acts so childish.

And sure, killing someone isn't "childish" but I can't see Andrew any other way. Sorry.

And young kids hurt people all the time, for childish reasons or without thinking about the consequences. My seven year old cousin tried to shoot me once. As in, he actually pointed a gun at me and shot it. (This isn't important to my point but his bitch mom didn't do anything about it, either.) All because someone told him he wouldn't.

Same thing with Andrew, he wasn't thinking carefully enough about it and The First convinced him that everything would work out okay.
 
I agree Kids do stupid things all the time without thinking something through due to peer pressure thats exactly what went on. Warren pressured him into it, so in a since it was a bit childish. They were so into playing this little game of "Lets be Evil" they didn't know what they were really getting themselves into. If Andrew was truely evil he wouldn't regret it.

Just because he regrets it and fell into peer pressure doesn't mean its right. It was still comepletly senseless...

but how can you hate someone soooo darn cute? It's like CharmedSlayer, she could kill my dog and I'd still want to pinch her cheeks 😀
