Angel Season 5 DVD Info

Spike makes the most sense to be alongside Angel. He was really there for the big man in a way that the rest of the team just wasn't, this season.

There's two things about the cover I can't stand. 1: Spike is on it. He doesn't deserve to be on the cover. I hated him the entire time in season five, he just didn't fit in, and didn't have a chemistry with the other members of the Fang Gang. 2: It's a orangey based color, and I'm not a fan of that. I think they should've continued with the dark colors for the Angel DVD box sets (season 1: dark red, season 2: dark blue, season 3: dark amber like, season 4: dark green), I would've been happy if they made this box more of a black or grey, similar to the Buffy season 4 DVD. But oh well. It's just that it looks like they're standing in the sun, I mean, come on.

Other than those two things, I can't wait for it. Especially the bonus features.
 
IMHO, I think it should have been either Wes or Fred on the cover with Angel. Wes endured and had gone through so much this season that saying he went through hell would be a monumental understatement. Fred was the leading lady this season and she did a good job carrying it I think. So to keep up with the tradition of leading lady on cover with Angel she would have worked nicely I think.

But Spike on the cover? Don't even get me started on how wrong I think it is.

Yeah it kinda freaked me out too! But I like that Spike was on the cover..personally I also think he was there for the gang, also the whole dual Shanshu thing between him and Angel...it just fits for me.

1. Yay its book style, would be silly to have only one series not book style
2. They broke the tradition, Spike is on
3. Maybe its the image quality but they havn't even tried to blend DB in have they?
4. Overall I like

As of the end of Feb every Angel and Buffy season will be mine, bwahaha!

Angel S5 on DVD!

I can't wait till FEBRUARY 15TH! That is when season five of ANGEL is out on dvd! Should be good, not just is there hunky angel, but also spike! I already have pretty much every buffy season on dvd. I am gonna get this one too because i am in love with spike! There it's out! few! lol. Enjoy, it should be good!

Yup, went to Best Buy tonight and checked, they will have it in stores on Feb. 15th!! Will be there that day to get it, cant wait to watch Season 5 all over again.
 
yay!! i cant wait just one more week! i have a $50 gift card there and have been waiting to use it for that since my bday
 
angel season 5

the dvd cam out today and i bought it yay...its sad that the dvd will be the last in the buffyuniverse 🙁
 
I wanted to go get it today but the stupid bills had to come 1st 🙁 I am buying it this weekend for sure, then my collection will be complete.
 
It should be at home for me today 🙂 I'm going to go check out Amazon in a bit to see where the tracking system has it at 😀
 
I bought it on my lunch yesterday! 😀 😀 Through disc number one already...SIGH I can't believe this is the last time I'll ever re-watch a Season of Buffy or Angel for the first time. 🙁
