What do I mean when I said "Unpopular Opinions" : Something you think and that is contrary to what the majority of the fandom think. My exemple : I can see Faith and Angel together, even if I'm a Bangel !

I loved Eve & thought she was one of the best characters in Season 5 of Angel. 🙂

Darla shouldn't have died when giving birth to Connor. We should've seen the two vampires trying to be parents to a baby.

The grown up Connor arc never should've happened.

Cordelia should've been killed off sooner to avoid the character assassination.

Spike-Fred had a more interesting relationship (and by relationship I mean friendship people😉) than she had with either Gunn or Wes. I kinda ship them🙂

Eddie should have been the season long love interest for Buffy in S4. Or at the very least he should have had a bigger role than just his one off in The Freshman.

Cordelia should have never been the female lead. She only works as a side character. It was like they forgot AtS was Angel & the Fang Gang to BtVS's Buffy & the Scooby Gang and not Angel the male lead to Cordelia's female lead. Even the dvd covers forgot it and exclusively feature Angel & Cordelia.

Cordelia was not Connor's pseudo mom so the Oedipus thing doesn't work as well as they tried to make it. Winifred was the one who first held Connor, lived at the Hyperion, was there when Cordy was on vacation in Mexico, and looked out for Connor for months when Angel & Cordelia were missing. And yet nobody thinks of her as his pseudo mom.

Angel/Nina should have been more developed, and almost certainly would have been if there had been an "Angel" Season 6.

I hated Wes/Fred so much I was actually rooting for Angelus to tell Fred about Lilah and cheered when it happened.

The Shroud of Rahmon is one of the highlights of S2 and is unfairly knocked.

I Will Remember You is overrated IMO.

IWRY is one of my least favourite Bangel episodes.

Angel was a dumbass in Sanctuary.

Fred and Gunn had so much more potential than Fred and Wes. It felt as though the writers were thinking, 'The educated white people are obviously meant for each other, even though they have no chemistry and their educations lie in completely opposite fields, but for some reason Wesley can read Fred's articles on experimental physics and compliment her and make Gunn uncomfortable and it makes absolutely no sense and we are all stupid and we should quit our jobs, because we are probably racist and classist and other things.'

S4 became so much better after Jasmine showed up.

Wesley may be cool, but he is also a complete douchebag.

Harmony is a-mazing.

Orpheus is way overrated.

Fred and Will would probably have been awful.

Cordelia did not grow; she regressed.

The ending was not a cliffhanger. It was perfect.

He lived nearly his entire life in one of the most violent hell dimensions in the multiverse and was raised by the vampire hunter who had to kill his own child because she was turned into a soulless demon and whose wife was raped & murdered. And it was Connor's parents who did that.

Lindsey was more redeemable than Faith & Darla but he's not a hot female so Angel thought he deserved being executed after helping the group take down one of their biggest enemies. Eve was spared and Harmony got a recommendation letter and they all felt bad Wes lost Lilah but it was just a big middle finger to Lindsey.

I have never really been able to figure that out, but maybe... Will is both a right and left brainer. I am a right brainer. Tara is also a right brainer. Fred is a definite left brainer. If Will got together with Fred, it might draw her away from me 😛 Does this make me sound insane? Tell me if I sound insane 😛

Were you asking about Fred and Wes, too? That is easier. Their similarities are purely superficial. Wesley being able to read Fred's article makes no sense. It is as if the writers thought: White + Educated = Match!

P.S. Actually, I take that thing about Will's brain back. She is a right brainer who is surprisingly good with computers and science subjects.

That's one difference between real and life and TV. On TV, its not enough to expect people to feel sorry for a character because of what happened to him off screen. The writers still have to make him likable or engaging as a character in his own right. IMO they failed to do that with Connor.

There is no way on earth she should have looked twice at Doyle, and I hate that pairing so much

I like Angel and Cordy relationship. I love the friendship between them and how the one evoluate with the other along side. There are moments where I ship them and want seeing them as a couple. But in the end I can't call myself a Cangel shipper because of the way things went, but with a better execution I would probably be a Cangel shipper.
Anyway for me Angel + Cordy = Better pairing than Doyle/Cordy
