Well didnt Angel and Angelus fight each other in Orpheus? And it looked like neither one of them had the upper hand on each other.
 
Not often that I vote for Buffy over Angel, but here I did.

I presume this is a comparison between Ats5 Angel and Btvs7 Buffy, so there's no direct fight to judge from. But in Destiny Spike beat Angel, not by a lot, but he did. And when Buffy & Spike fought in Btvs, Buffy generally kicked his ass, so I think Buffy is tougher than Angel (and Spike is in between the two).

How can that be, I know not really the place for it, but...I mean how come the evilness brings out an intelligence that Angel doesn't have. To me that's just not logical, but I remember him sayin that as well. So how come Angelus is smarter? A longer life? Being able to face himself in the mirror, metaphorically speakin,?
