Everyone's talking crap about that Negros movie but I thought the trailer was kinda funny.

Are you talking abt the American Society of Magical Negroes? I think it looks good! Ofc the trailer is polarizing, it's meant to be: it looks like the protagonist realizes this magical society is all about keeping white people comfortable so they don't harm any non-white people out of hatred/fear/sensitivity, and the protagonist DOESN'T AGREE WITH IT. He even says he's always had to make white people feel comfortable, and he doesn't want to do it anymore. I think the film makers are obvious abt their intentions that the magical society the main character joins is flawed- that's clearly going to be a large part of the movie. Ofc, I also agree that there should be more movies w/ black and non-white characters that aren't about racism, but I don't think it's fair to kick down one movie for just not being a different kind of movie.

The only sweets I have left over from Christmas now are Parma Violets. Who thought making a flower-flavoured sweet was a good idea?

I was leaving the market earlier when I saw this rainbow. (It was MUCH more colourful In person by the way) I've never personally witnessed a rainbow where both ends were visible. I'd like to think of this as a good omen! ✨

Friday nite after work was shopping in store near job. Was browsing for maybe 10 minutes waiting on GF to text me back
Some middle aged woman came up to me waving a ten dollar bill.
I figured maybe she thought I worked there (since we have similar dark blue shirts) & wanted to tip me?
I was like 'oh I don't work here'. She replied 'just go & buy yerself something to eat'.
in my head I;m like 'seriously'? I replied: I'm not poor I'm just waiting for my friend to let me know what they want.
She clearly didn't believe me. I'm like 'I'm not poor I make like 20 bucks an hour next door'. She's like 'are you sure?'
I said 'Yeah, I'm fine' & walked away. Now don't get me wrong.
I'm glad she's trying to help her fellow human, but maybe at least be sure they need yer assistance first.
I took a photo & sent with text to GF 'does something bout my outfit scream: transient to you'.
Not missing a beat my GF replied: well babe that coat is kinda dumpy. I texted back: someone's not getting any tonite

It looks like I am going to finally have to admit I need a new phone. As I just had to clear all the caches and delete two apps to install one I needed. Which I will then probably have to uninstall again to put the other two back on the phone.

I have one. It's got far too little internal storage and a bunch of pre-installed apps that I never use and can't delete taking up most of the internal memory. It is only the memory card that's currently keeping it going!
