KLSJDLFKJDSKLFJDSKL Oh my god the people I ride the bus with are RIDICULOUS! So I was reading the "Did Buffy REALLY love Spike" thread while on the bus. I'm really energized for some reason too. So anyway, I read a quote from Jane Espenson that I more than adored And did a "YES!" thing where I hit my bag that was on my lap. Apparently my hitting my bag also affected the seat in front of me. The woman in front of me got upset and I apologized to her and assured her I'd contain my excitement. She said "OK" and I figured that was that. So I put my headphones back in and turned the volume up. About five minutes later I see and hear this woman get up and start yelling "WHAT THE F*** THIS HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH YOU SO YOU CAN SHUT THE F*** UP AND GO STOP TRYING TO TALK TO ME CAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT! STAY OUT OF SHIT THAT ISN'T ANY OF YOUR F***ING BUSINESS!!!!" I see the guy behind me with this stunned look on his face and he says "I was just trying to defend her. I'm sorry it offended you so much." When she says her he puts his hand on my shoulder. Now I'm REALLY confused and I'm like "what's going on?!" And the guy is like "She was going on and on and talking smack about you and I didn't think it was appropriate or necessary so I told her you didn't mean to hit her chair and to let it go. Then she went off." Then the woman and like half the bus started yelling at him about how he should mind his own business and this didn't have anything to do with him. And I'm stuck on the fact this minor incedent happened FIVE MINUTES ago. So I'm like "wait, you were still upset about my accidentally hitting your chair?" And she was like "YOU BITCH YOU F***ING BITCH YOU HIT MY HEAD AND ALMOST CHOPPED IT OFF! WHAT THE F*** YOU THINK YOU SAY "I'm sorry" AND IT'S ALL BETTER? F*** YOU!" So because I've ridden the city busses here for a year and half I know when you're dealing with people like this, you just shut up. And let them scream and go insane. Well the guy behind me was obviously new to the bus so he said "see that's uncalled for." Meanwhile the bus driver has pulled over and he says "One or both of you is getting off this bus." The guy decides to try and apologize and say he shouldn't have said anything. The woman is having none of it. So he goes to talk to the bus driver. The driver tells him to talk to the police 'cause they're on their way. And the guy is like "is that really necessary? I mean what I see is that this woman popped off." The driver was like "tell it to the police." And the guy's like "well everyone on this bus is going to be late if the police come." And the driver was like "yep." And so the guy was like "Well I'm going to go then." So he gets off the bus. The driver comes to me and tells me it's my decision if the woman stays on the bus or not because she was freaking out about me. Then someone behind me said "by the way, when that guy stepped in it was because she said she wanted to punch you in the face." I asked if that was true and everyone agreed so I said she should DEFIANTLY be off the bus. THen the woman was like "I know you ride this bus ever Monday and Wednesday. I'm going to get you next time!" That was IT. I was like "Look, I can take the next bus and still not be late to where I'm ultimately going. So I can get off and wait for the police. You want to try and threaten me again? See what happens." She got off screaming and yelling EVERY curse word Americans usually speak. And then as I'm getting off the driver makes a comment like "on your connection, try not to punch anyone in the head." And I'm like "What the..." And then I get on my connection and this woman sits down. I sit down behind her and she gets up and moves and says "I don't want you to hit me in the head." And I'm like "What?" And she's like "I've seen you. We all have. You get really into your music and you hit that woman." And I'm like "that wasn't my music, I read something that made me REALLY happy. And I apologized. it was an accident. Have you never accidentally done something?" And she's like "not like that. I'm considerate and I pay attention so I don't hit people in the head, and then throw them off the bus." I'm like WTF?!?!?! So frustrating. So I danced extra for that woman. screw them.
