For anyone who dislikes/hates Willow for whatever reason. Please explain why.

Also, if you dislike/hate any other characters from Buffy The Vampire Slayer, you may also post that here.

Title Says All. What don't you like about Willow?
 
Oh, this is so not the thread for me. I love Willow. But I don´t have the love for Dark Willow that so many seem to have. Does that count for anything?


edit: Hmmm, I see you have Willow as "favourite character". Call me confused.
 
Don't take the title that seriously. It's more of joke. But ya, if you really don't like Willow, you can comment here too.

Also, where do see Willow as a favorite character, its my screen name, and was made by a friend.

Well, it isn't easy to come up with anything not to like about Willow...

Maybe in 'Empty Places', with the rest of them imho.
But if I recall it correctly. Willow wasn't so bad there either, compared.

Not counting when she was out of control as Dark Willow of course.

Personally I think Willow might be the sweetest thing I have ever seen on TV. Especially the highschool years. So lovely.

Yes I thought Willow was your favourite too but you seem to dislike her too.

I love Willow! She's in my top favourite characters.

I seem to dislike Willow? What ever have I done now? This is not good, need to get back to bed. Willow is my absolute favourite. Mainly because she´s been there all the way. Anya, Tara and Andrew share second place.
Negative things to say about Willow? *long pause* She's not there in my real life?

No, seriously, the only "negative" thing to be said about Will (who's very much my favorite char, the only one to even have a chance at challenging her would be Fred) is that her addiction/evil arc in S6 was so intensely uneasing that I couldn't bear watching all the eps the first time around. But that just shows good writing and AH's consistently great acting.

So, I'll pass on the Anti-Willow-Group. Actually, anyone who wants to found an Anti-Anti-Willow-Group may find me signing up immediately. 😀
 
Okay, I don't like Willow. There, I said it.
Why? I don't know. I've written about this before somewhere. Not only concerning Willow, but also Fred. I think I might be a bit too much like them, and that's the reason. You know, usually I'm all talking like the both of them, also pretty smart (and no, I'm not bragging, but it's just true)...well I'm probably more like Fred than Willow but you get the picture. So that would be my explanation why I don't like them. There you go. If it's not that I have no idea why I don't like them.
Lately (since college) I'm becoming a lot more like other characters though...maybe this means that in time I will come to value Willow and Fred.

YOU BITCA!!!!!!!!!! :p. jk, at least you're not acting like the Dawn-haters.
I adore Willow for most of the series. Didn't like who she became in S6 (obviously)--ultimately self-centered, selfish, mooching off Buffy--but people go through those stages and I think she recovered from it pretty well. At least until the big "throw Buffy out" fest in S7.

You want me to really go off about not liking a character, make an Anti-Xander thread. 🙂
 
Anti-Willow? Say what?

I simply adore the character, so I'd like to join InsaneMystic's Anti-Anti-Willow Group. To be honest, I don't see why anyone wouldn't like her, but to each their own.
 
Her disloyalty to Buffy in the Season 7 mutiny. Like Spike said, she owed Buffy her life on more than one occasion, and she even called herself Buffy's best friend. She should have supportive. Best friends don't let best friends get kicked out of their own homes.

Umm... Willow isn't one of my favorite characters. That said, I can't think of a single complaint. At first, I thought she was too sugary-sweet, but all those years of repressing her dark side had some major consequences once it was finally unleashed, so I really think they did a great job of exploring every facet of her character. All in all, she was a great character.
 
I love Willow. She seems very normal to me. Like a cute little flower planted in a pot that only really started to grow in Buffy's warm sunshine.
And I like even more how she grew into someone that didn't really NEED to be in Buffy's sunshine by S4.

Her not listening to Buffy in S6 and turning on her in S7 kind of hurts to watch, but it also shows how much she's grown as a person and doesn't NEED to be in Buffy's shadow anymore.
If I were her Mom, I'd be really proud (other than the trying to end the world thing.)

I was actually referring to WillowRosenburg's post and just agreed with your comments about her slayer stats. Sorry for the mistake kinslayer.

You're right, of course, let's say she stepped out of Buffy's sun and shown brightly all by herself!
 
I noticed the thing said about Willow in s6 and s7 and i agree, so since they've been done i'll do s5.
This is the season i started disliking her. I dont think she suited her new cocky attitude at all.
And Triangle was when she bugged me most. Apart from her constant annoyingness, the way she steals the stuff from the Magic Box and then has the cheek to treat Anya like she's an idiot for not liking what she's doing. Then, she makes the till(or.... cash register) dissapear, risking GILES money, and then laughing it off like its nothing, and actally insults Anya again.
Then in the car she tries to pass the blame onto Anya for making Olaf appear. THEN, the following words exit Willows mouth... ''Well Giles can be an idiot, y'know, the smart kind, but still an idiot'', and to me, Willows just described herself there. Pot, kettle, black!
Then, just because Anya mentioned Willows stealing, Willow gets annoyed and says ''your so rude'' followed by some cheek.
And one more thing, Giles shop was wrecked thanks to Willow, and im guessing she didnt pay for it.

Anyway, after this ep, she never gave me a reason to like her again. She got a bit too big for her boots.

I can agree right up until not liking her after that episode. I can forgive her for having her days of being a bit "Konk-Worthy". We ALL get that way sometimes, RIGHT?
