Anti-Willow Group

I don't really hate any character in the Buffy/Angelverse except for Conner. But I've already complained enough about him.
 
Oops, i didnt mean to sound like i HATE her, and i suppose she's not usually that bad, but i liked her alot in s1-s4 and i just didnt like the *new Willow*. Like, Tara grew a bit more confident and was more able to stand up for herself, and while this also happened to Willow, Willow also developed unsuited arrogance. i think.
 
Im not going to post about Willow because Willow is my fave and i love her to bits... But i have to say if i would have to choose a character i disliked most it would probably be... Hmm.. Im not sure. I quess certain aspects of certain characters i dont like but i dont really hate any.

Okay... Xander annoys me sometimes... although i love him to bits i do think he can be a little irritating at times.
Buffy is rather self-pitying sometimes which is understandable but can be slightly repetatative at times... although i do love her still.

Its hard to really hate anyone... because they are all so amazing and i am really picking to find an answer, but i guess thats it really.
 
I have to admit that as the series went on, Willow became less and less lovable for me. I thought her high-school portrayal was amazing and so painfully effective. Once the magic got in her blood, I became meh, but still loved her with Tara.

However, season 7 Willow did nothing for me. First, they put her with Kennedy, who was all wrong for her (and annoying as well). Then, to kick Buffy out of her house?! I blamed her and Dawn more than anyone else who was in on it.

In s3, choices, the silly little cow manages to get herself kidnapped, then instead of grabbing the books of ascension and jumping out a window, what does she do? She sits there reading through these thousand page books, looking for anything of value. I would say she was waiting for Buffy to come to her rescue(how pathetic) but that probably didnt enter her thick skull. In fact, escaping probably didnt even enter her thick skull.
Shes potentially in a life/death situation, she's in posession of her enemies vital books, and she has time to escape(yes she does) and she decides to sit there.

i love willow---spike and willow are my two favourite characters. i loved willow in seasons 1-4 when she was sweet and lovable and a good friend, and i loved her in 5-7 when she became more powerful and self-confident. i loved the decision she made to go to uc sunnydale because fighting evil alongside buffy was a "good fight" and she wanted in. i think two of the major themes of buffy, especially in seasons 6 and 7, are growing up and power--how to deal with one's own power and how to relate to other people's power. willow became arguably the most powerful person out of them all, but she still was cute and sweet and respected her friends. as for dark willow, i think everyone has a time in his or her life when they get lost, when they make wrong decisions and bad choices, and magic was an addiction that willow was able to overcome. i didn't like that she and everyone kicked buffy out in season 7, but i can understand the situation. i think that everyone, especially willow, made up for the momentary lapse in judgment.
 
I love Willow, especially in the first 4 seasons. I don't like how she decided to gang up on throwing Buffy out in the end of season 7 though.
 
well, i love willow, vamp willow, dark willow, ... 😛 Willow(s) rock(s)! However, I didnt like what she did to Buffy in season 7 - she kicked Buffy out of her own house!! :s and kennedy is so annoying (arggh) but besides that i cant see why people would hate willow. she rocks! :cheering:

People's hate is irrational at times. Believe me I know many who hate Willow, because they think she was accepted easily after the events of Dark Willow. Not to mention, Alyson was Joss' favorite, so that made everybody angry.

Personally, I love Willow. She's far from perfect, and she has issues with controlling others and situations, but that makes her human.
 
Don't hate her, but I like her less than Buffy, Xander, Giles, Anya, Oz, Cordelia, Spike. She really only beats out Dawn and Riley in my book (Angel is a toss-up on Buffy, though I like him a lot more on his show).
 
Yeah, after season 6, i didn't like Willow. She didn't get away with becoming the big bad like the other heroes did. Angel - lost his soul. Cordy - not Cordy. Willow, well she was Willow. All that nasty, self involved doom bringing was her. Magic just gave her an excuse to free her inner bitch. And i know Tara was killed. But she chose to abuse Magic well before that. And true, she was going through a lot in season 6, but sorry deal with it. Like she said to Faith, " You know, it didn't have to be this way. But you made your choice. I know you had a tough life. I know some people think you've had a lot of bad breaks. Well, boo-hoo. Poor you. You know, you had a lot more in your life than some people." So did you Will. Don't go destroying the world because time's get rough.
Oh dear, The Wilow fans are gonna kill me.
 
It's not possible to dislike Willow, pshh she's awesome. The only thing I can say against her, is that she didn't even try and stop Buffy from leaving in S7, which she really should have, I mean they were best friends, I wouldn't just let my best friend up and leave, especially in the circumstances.

Well, if we should dislike all characters that have done despiccable acts towards people they love, there's really not a whole lot left to like.
 
I think it's soo wierd..i mean so many people dislike willow after season 6 or 7 but the thing is those are the first seasons i saw and i totally fell in love with her! She's my favourite character by far and Alyson Hannigan does an amazing job! I couldn't hate willow at all..."I love crayon-breaking willow and i love scary, veiny willow" and not to forget Vampire Willow..."Look at me, i'm all fuzzy" lol i laugh every time.
 
Willow was good enough in the first 3 seasons, although still my least favorite scooby. But after s4 she became, meh, boring and bitchy. Tbh, they could have killed her off anytime after s4 for all i cared.
