Any LJ Smith fans?

Yes!! I love Vampire Diaries and I read all of the night world books. Its all sort of guilty pleasure level reading, but I'm guilty!

Yes! I haven't kept up on the new TVD books she's written lately (shame on me) but I love her writing style. And she had this set of books about these teenagers that had powers and they were all in the same house in Cali and it turned out the guy funding it was evil and this is a huge run-on sentence. I can't remember what those were called, but they were really good!
 
I've read The Vampire Diaries series - but not the latest one either. I prefer the TV series but the books were still alright.
 
I love the vampire diaries. I have not yet read the secret circle but plan to before the show comes out.
I read the night world series I actually really liked those only read the first three though.
 
I read the first & second book (Of Vampire Diaries) By the end of the second book, I was shipping Elena/Damon. I have yet to read any Secret Circle.

I adore the show, thought the original four books were fantastic, and really like her Forbidden Game trilogy as well. I'm sooooo excited for the new episode tonight, it's supposed to be pretty epic.
 
I've read all the Vampire Diaires books up until the most recent one. I love the stories as long as I completely separate them (in my mind) from the tv show. I love Damon more in the tv show. I like Elaina (probably spelled that wrong) from the books better. She's more tough and independent.

See I would rather have Meredith than Bonnie in a way. I actually like Bonnie more in the books than the show.

Does everyone like the idea of Jeremy being older than the idea of Elena having a younger sister?

I would have rather seen Elena in the series have a little sister, instead of Jeremy. But then again I'll take Meredith over Bonnie any day! True this.
I like Bonnie. I dont miss Meredith that much cos tv Bonnie kinda takes that role. Damon in the books totally freaks me out. I used to ship Damon/Elana from the show before I read the books but then I read the books and totally went back on that. I think Jeremey is a good addition. Adds more storylines. Although he can piss me off at times.
 
I felt so bad for Jeremy in season 1 though. With all of his girlfriends dying... Anna! Oh, poor Anna. I really loved her! I had a gerbil named after her. My cat killed her, some of you may remember that.

I LOVE THE TWISTS THE SHOW IS TAKING. But I swear to god, if they kill Caroline, I'm never watching it live again. I'll DVR it and screw up their ratings.

I loved her as well! I miss her so much and I can't stand in a way

I don't mind them as much because I love Jeremy but I just don't like it at all after Anna.

I know right! I like Elena but I LOVE Caroline if they ever killed her I would be really ticked off. I would rather them kill Bonnie though at this point. I am preparing myself because season finale time is coming up and you know what that means.

Haha. I like Caroline a little more than Elena. So I think I'll kinda have to agree on this one. Haha. I think i would be a little more upset if Caroline was killed off. Just because I've loved her since she became a vampire.
 
I just got Night World volumes 1 and 2... I haven't kept up with Vampire Diaries the show since we gave up cable, and I haven't read the newer VD books or the Secret Circle books. In short, I'm a fan, but not a very good one. 😛

Sadly, the ghost got to it first, so now the volume that had been carefully placed on my shelf is missing. I love Ash. i hope we see him more... I'll tell you when I find it. 😛
