Anyone Wanna Talk Lost? (Possible Spoilers)

Lost

why is knowone talking about LOST?

its fantastic and has DAVID FURY as a producers !!! (if you don't know who that is then he got mustard on him once...)

its about these people who get LOST cos their plane falls out the sky. but instead of just being all "oh no our plane fell out the sky *grumble* they get on with things and half the stories told in flash back to what people were doing before they got on the plane (which later fell out the sky)

to make things worse theres a nasty unseem monster living in the forrest and scary other people who come along and take people now and then.

also theres weird super natural stuff and random polar bears

its really quite fantastic

Um it is being talked about in the Whedonverse. I look forward to seeing it when Channel 4 finally start showing it in August.

see this place makes less sense then a blind monkey eating a pin ball machine

you have buffy and angel forums... O.K.

you have no firefly forum although it was the next project by the same team...

you have a true calling forum for... there probabley isnt a reason for that

you have whedonverse which discusses things Joss never went near?

well im glad we don't just have a long list of forums cos the admin think it'll look cool and confuse knowone ::huh::

Whedonesque.com also discusses things Joss hasn't gone near. Maybe you should register there, and enlighten them on what they're doing wrong too. I'm sure they'll be tickled to hear from you. :D
I'm so bad at constructing, deconstructing plots that that particular death was surprising, emotional. Ignorance is bliss, or misery, I guess. Wonder where Locke had run off to....can't wait for the big rumble to come.

I have enjoyed watching Lost. Unfortunately I missed a few episodes and have to wait for the DVDs before I see them. I really like the show and I think there is ample room for character development.

i have heard great things about the show.. sadly i go to bed (befor my cusin[sp?] who is 4 years old do) at like 7pm at night so i haven't seen more then a half epp.... i want to see it too! 😀

Tru Calling was cause it merged with a Tru Calling forum. It dissapeared for a while but came back when TC did. But dont worry, TC, and thus the forum, will soon be gone again.

The Whedonverse is for all staff members from Buffy/Angel

Well Fury has left Lost, and I can't find anything saying the ex-Buffy/Angelverse tandem of Goddard and Bell will cross over from Alias, so I guess this thread has to be sent Social Studies.

* sniff, sniff * I'm gonna miss it.

I heard some interesting spoilers on Watch with Kristin over at Eonline:

A female main cast member will die early in the season.

Jin and Sawyer ARE alive.

Two of the men on the boat that took Walt may be twins. Kristin seems to think the others have done some cloning experiments.

Also, if you go to www.oceanic-air.com (I think) and where it says travellers and input Hurley's "lucky" numbers, it will take you to a lay out of the plane. Click on the rows corresponding to Hurley's "lucky" numbers in order and get a surprise 🙂

I see one more shot of Kate looking winsomely out to sea, I'm going to murder somebody. I'm telling you now so that when it happens, you can give interviews.

RTE, the Irish station, has a bold new strategy for promoting Lost - they essentially spoil a major plot point for their own viewers every single week. This weeks trailer was a spoiler of Luke's Father proportions. They did it the whole way through 24, too, spoiling the plot through the magic of stupid montage editing. It's so infuriating, I'm seriously considering just waiting for Channel 4 to catch up and just watching it there instead. If it was something like Friends, or whatever, I wouldn't mind so much, but Lost's exposition grinds along so incredibly slowly that spoiling it just kills my patience.

Speaking of Channel 4, anybody see the Lost promos it's been running? Good Lord! Fair enough, if you've never seen Lost they make absolutely no sense, but they're still incredible. There's the differing attitude, eh? RTE shows it first just to get it out of the way, rips it apart with horrible sponsor ads every seven minutes, and needlessly spoils it's own audience every single week. Channel 4 waits until it's finished with Desperate Housewives, then commissions it's own full-cast, exclusive to Britain, abstract slow-dance piece with a Portishead soundtrack. I believe there's a cinema edit with a rather intriguing voiceover too. Lucky Limeys. 😀 Anybody know what time CH4 intend to broadcast it? Pre- or Post- Watershed?

Yea they did the spoiling thing here in Sweden I think too, I never catched any of the promos but my boyfriend did and he was going up the roof in anger. But I know that they are ususally very good at spoiling things overall here, (a little OT but before they showed the Buffy episode Ted they said something like: and today Buffy is going to fight a real robot.. )

It was alright. I guess that they are 'consistent' in the fact that they irritate the heck out of me because I WANT ANSWERS!!!! And Kate better be okay, otherwise I'll freak out. I like her.

It will be interesting. One thing that we questioned though, why did the inside of the hatch door say quarantine? For people with x-ray vision?

People who are quarantined usually have some form of a contagious disease or have come in contact with something that can spread harm amongst the masses, so I guess we'll see.

My boyfriend said the guy in the Hatch was the guy Jack met at the stadium when he was running in his flashbacks. I didn't notice that.

yeh the guy from the stadium and the guy in hatch are one and the same, also the guy that Sarah killed in the crash was Shannons dad, when Walt appeared he said 'the buttons bad, dont press the button' and the quorintine sign was on the inside of a hatch which shouldnt be opened from the outside which seems to suggest that it is the Island which is under quorintine and not the hatch itself

Did you notice how out of date everything was in the bunker?

The computer was pre-windows. Records suggest pre-CD. I'm thinking late 80s, early 90s.

The guy is Australian. Does that suggest the Australian government might be involved? It is off the coast of Australia somewhere.

Does a bunker hint at a nuclear bomb bunker storyline? I would have said maybe the guy has been down there hiding from the bomb since the 80s, but as has been mentioned he was recently jogging in an American stadium.

Nuclear fall out does work in the senario.
It has dissipated over time.....PLUS the French did a lot of testing in thos waters.....so its feasible.......that could be the illness...but some other things need explanation....
