April Fools Event

I know that I don't post here very often, but when i saw this thread, I just had to put my 2 cents worth in. As some of you might recall, I made a promise to someone about a year ago that I would ship Bangel for a month if that person would return to the Boards (You DO all know that I am a rabid Spuffy shipper, right?) It was fun, and gave me some great insight into just how the "other half" live. It was right after that that the slogan "Friends Don't Let Friends Ship Bangel" became my watchword.

But I digress. What I wanted to say was, shipping Bangel led to some of the most fun that I've had here on the Boards in a long time, and, as far as I know, no one ever got mad or felt insulted by it. So, pick your ships and have fun with it.
 
Okay I've decided to officially ship BANGEL for the entire month of April.

Ive take white avengers words to heart and realized it might be fun to see the "other half" for a little and gain some perspective.

As much as I dislike BANGEL, this is my choice and I'm sticking to it....for one month anyways.

Good luck. I'll send word to some of my agents over there to keep an eye on you. (They're really Spuffies, they're just under cover)
On that note, I was reading Joan the Vampre Slayer's posts from like forever ago and she did that shipping Bangel for a month thing and loved it. I was considering doing it too. We'll see though.
 
You know, that might be an interesting challenge for all Board members. Ship for one month on the opposite side, just to see how it feels. Could you just imagine the utter chaos that would result? Just the Spuffy/Bangel turnaround would be wild, but add Woz/Twillow, Fresley/Frunn, and all of the other combinations could be enough to "Drucilla-fy" half of the regular members.

Heck, I'd do it! Hmmm... honestly though I really don't hate any of the ships. I see the fun in all of them! This'll be fun! 😀
 
Okies, made my mind up... could someone with more bannering skills than me (that's almost the entire dorm population :blush: yeah, minus you, Wash 😛) please make me a Killow Banner with the text of "soulmates" (big font) and "(...and pierced tongue fun, too)" (very small font underneath)? I'll give you a cookie! 😀

Hey! I did the Natalie/Keira banner and Doctor Who christmas one all by myself.















Yeah ok. That was only cutting, copy and paste with no blending or text what so ever. So I accept you to be right. Give me two more years and I might start adding text. 😉

the official event is just for April Fool's Day. But some people were talking about challenging themselves to ship an oppisite ship all month. As in not just wear it in their signatures... but really ship it.
