So, at the end of Chosen, the Slayer and her witch decide to 'power share' the Slayer line. Thus activating the demon essence inside of all potentials- even potential potentials.
Some could argue that it is an abuse of anothers choice. Buffy sentencing hundreds (or thousands?) or girls to a life of abnormality, one in which they are not prepared, nor asked for. Others could argue that once again Buffy does what needs to be done to win.
Working on the assumption that Chosen was the end of the series, as it was meant to be, what do you think of the power-sharing idea? Was it robbing women of their own choice or was it empowering women by thrusting this upon them?
Thanks @janas for the idea
