Yes :) a fancy jarrahdale :D most people in my town use wood fires for heat cos we live in asbestos houses with wood floors over a salt lake that dont stay warm any other way.

She's right though - most UK homes don't need air-con. I've got a fan and I've had it on in the bedroom since Monday but only between going to bed and falling asleep

a) Blame the media (and in this case @nightshade) b) Don't read it - unless they're holding your kids/dog/cat hostage. In which case, the choice is yours.

I'd have to stay out of the living room all day long. lol.
I have a fan on the table next to my bed & that all i need .

The only time i read about then is on magazines covers these days .

Moaning about the weather, whatever it is, is a British pastime. We can always find something to moan about when it comes to the weather!
Sounds like she was mad over how good the weather was there & just had to complain 😂
