Ok so I decided to let you in on what has happened over the last couple of days. And I have to say most of it isn't that much fun. First off I was going to visit my dad and missed my flight because we were stuck in traffic on the same stupid street for about 45 mins. Then the next flight I could catch wasn't for another 7 hours after that. So there I was stranded at the airport for 7 hours wearing very and when I say very I mean VERY high heels. I had $11 dollars which doesn't buy much here, I hadn't had breakfast! I managed to buy some net time also not fun cause the thingy ate up my money but I did manage to talk to CS and BOtD only to have them both laugh at me!!! I sprained my ankle (which they also laughed at)! Any way after the airport visit from hell and the not so supportive friends (Al!!!!!!) I tried to move on. But god seems to have other plans because tonight I went to the shops with my stepmum and sister only to have some guys hit us with his car right where I was sitting!! I swear I had a heartattack! So I want to know what bad things have happened in your life recently?

I shall not go into all the bad things that have happened to me recently, however, I do know that they all seem to come at once.

Sorry to hear about your bad experiences. I had a bad experience at Stansted Airport on my way over to France... Ryanair complained that I had too much luggage and charged me over £100 excess. That was after bloody Easyjet did the same at Glasgow airport! lol I should really learn not to pack everything I own!

Oh... and I got pooped on by a french pigeon last week!

Yup... life sucks sometimes! lol

stupid pigeon :(
I got my first battle wounds at work today..I suppose that qualifies as a bad experience. I got knocked around (got the bruises to prove it), but I lived through it so not all bad right? 🙂

I had a bad experience today. I was at the chinese food place with some friends and I ordered a whole bunch of food. I took out my credit card and then they said "No credit card, cash only." I was so mad. Last time I got food from there, they had accepted credit cards and now they wanted to act funny and not accept it!!! I didn't have any cash on me so I had to ask a friend for some money to pay for the food. I was really angry about that.

Eh i've had actually bad months really... My grandma has cancer so i've been dealing with that rather poorly... Everytime i hear the phone ring i keep thinking this is the day and eh my mom keeps trying to help me through it when really i came up here to help her... Funny aint it? I have a stalker ex bf who wants me to move to fl with him and marry him because he said so and if i dont he's going to make my life hell apparently.... plus even though this is gonna sound like its not bad i have a new bf and thats great it is except well pretty much i'm waiting for him to say ok well yeah its been fun really mhmm now bye.... ok yeah thats not really something bad i guess but the other two are 🙁

One of my first graders tried to punch me in the face yesterday. I was simply trying to take him to Kindergarten because he was acting like a Kindergarten. He got mad, and tried to hit me. I really wish that he would've hit me, cuz then I could've called the cops and scared the living crap out of him!

Kids are really bad these days.
Well, not all of these have been recent, but I've not been posting for a while so here's some selected events from one of the crappest years in memory.

*Various personal melodramas.

*Donated blood, but blood needle lady evidently used a snorkel because my arm went purple from just above my wrist the whole way up past my elbow in an extremely dramatic fashion. I've given blood before, most of my friends give blood, I looked like I'd been defending myself from a crowbar. My job calls for short sleeves. consequently for over a month I had people acting oddly around me, because they couldn't stop staring at my stupid car crash arm.

*Minor but nonetheless briefly freaky health scare.

*Got caught smack bang in the middle of a day-long sectarian riot in Dublin, complete with baton charges and petrol bombs.

*My aunt, who runs a pub, was bitten by a patron, requiring eight stitches.

*Bother with my employer. Shifts too long, employees too few, pay too low, conditions too crap. We both said things we didn't mean, it was ugly. Then they threatened to fire me, so I'm currently trying to drag in a union.

*Went to Edinburgh (yay!) during the largest entertainment festival in the world (yay!) to see Metric (yay!) and the Hedrons (yay!). Then there was an airport security scare (Gah!) which meant it took hours and hours to get through Dublin airport. Got to Edinburgh only for my accomodation reservation to have disappeared (Gah!). Spent one night in the Edinburgh University halls of residence (Yay!) and another three wherever was available. Metric were brilliant (yay!) but had difficulty with the crowd (Gah!). It occurred to me as the bus back to the airport brought me past the zoo that a) Penguins being my favourite animals on the planet, I should perhaps have paid a visit to the most famous penguin exhibit in the world, and b) That I should have thought to sort out a meet up. 🙁

*Junkie customer told me he'd kill me some night after work, and might I add, he was thoroughly convincing in saying so.

*My application to the Garda Reserve seems to have been lost (by them, rather than me, which I have to say doesn't instill great confidence for my police force) meaning I've missed the deadline to apply. It'll be next year at least before I can join.

*Hurt my ankle and knee very badly two weeks ago at work. I wish it was something I could sue for, but the fact is I was playing football with a giant roll of sellotape. Under the security cameras.

*Dog was run over. Hey, shut up, I can be sentimental.

I haven't had a really bad experience since BBGB06. I mean that was fun as hell, though, not, cause, you who were there all know why...

Had another bad alcohol experience a few ago though "“ won't go into details about that, but, it was bad..

Most recently.. Hm.. I have a classmate who likes to point out every day what a bad movie taste I have. Or, he likes to pick up Lynch or Tarantino DVDs, point at them, look at me and laugh and make stupid faces. He also likes to mention that he hates Tarantino fans more than anything else in the world. Ah well.

(Yes I'm bored.)

Hmmm well since it's so fun for the most part (like the morning put aside) I wouldn't call the hangoverness a bad experience that much... or maybe... but I don't know... it's like good and bad... but more good than bad.... though I don't feel a big liking for drinking since a few weeks ago.. lol

Bad experience.. hmmm... getting pushed on the road when I was vulnerable (i.e in a stupid costume that prevented me from defending myself...n/c) was one of the worse from the past year, lol

Poor WS, That's bruital luck!

As for me, my girlfriend and I broke up recently 🙂cry2: ), a dance class I was looking forward to fell through (grrr!), and one of my friends is ruining her education again (tsk, tsk!)

But on the up side it all works out and I'm alive and well, so yay!

(sorry couldn't leave a post that negative, you know how it is! 🙂)

That's too bad about everything. But hey, you're alive and well and that's all that matters. Things will get better :)
I went to my dad's fuel depo to feed the guard dogs and one of them attcked me. My hand will never be the same again!

aww really.. I actually fear dogs.. since i was attacked when i was little.. i like get hell scared if they come near me! unless they are little.. they are harmless :silly: another bad experience was when i found out that i had scoliosis, and my back was too curved to wear a brace.. so i had to get a 6 inch titanium rod put into my back.. it was horrible. they deflated my lungs... broke two ribs... and couldnt walk for like 2 weeks!

Eek. You're just inviting me to rant.

Yesterday I was at my boyfriend's house (across the street, heh) and my mother came over there to ask me a question... never figured out what it was. His mom told her that we were in the basement "hanging out". We'd locked ourselves down there for some fun (=]) and after that we went out behind his house to sit by the fish pond in his backyard and just talk. My mom got downstairs (somehow...) and guessssss whattt? The sheets on the pull-out bed were totally messed up (they hadn't been when she'd taken me over there a couple of hours ago and wanted to come downstairs, she'd never been down there before that) and something very foul sitting on the lampstand. I can't even go over to his house anymore. I don't know if I'm even allowed to call him.

Ok so I find out tonight that my mum's heart might actually be BAD... I thought oh yeah she will be okay.. but i dont know.. in the last 5 years... ive had a major back operation, my grandmother died, my pop had a stroke, a triple bipass... and nearly died (i dont know how he woke up after being in hospital in ICU for a month!) from a bad flu..... um i had another operation...um, my dad had a life threatning anoruseim, my uncle died and my best friend was hit by a car..

Aww, hun, that's awful to live through. The only positive thing about hitting rock bottom and going through all that is knowing it can't get any worse...

I found out in February that my mum has breast cancer and she's been having treatment for that. The chemo was an awful experience. She wasn't very ill, just really weak, but when she started loosing her hair she asked me to cut it off for her. That was something I never wanted to have to do, or hope I have to do again.

My granddad has been in and out of hospital since he had a triple heart by pass. He got an infection and has had to have a few operations. He's fine now, but my grandma is suffering from alzheimer's and when my granddad goes in hospital I have to stay with her because she can't be left on her own. It's surreal living with someone who gets up at 2 in the morning and starts running a bath.

And one of my best friends has decided that I'm no fun anymore and thought it would be in my best interest to tell me how boring I am to be around at the minute. So me and her had a huge fight and haven't spoken in weeks.

I'm hoping this is my rock bottom and its only going to get better now 🙂

lets hope that it is your rock bottom.. i hope everything is ok.. here is some *CS* love xxx
Last night, after a nice evening at a gig with some friends I hadn't seen in a while, we got nattering about Edinburgh. The conversation went thus:

Friend A: So how was Edinburgh?
Me: Brilliant. Weather was good the whole time I was there.
Drunken Scottish Stranger A: I'm a Rangers Fan.

For those of you unfamiliar with Irish and Scottish politics and football, this is a DANGER!!! DANGER WILL ROBINSON!!! moment. Not because he's a Rangers' fan; but because of all the infinite permutations of English words with which to introduce himself, he chose to say "I'm a Rangers fan" to a group of strangers in a small town pub who are all from Irish Catholic backgrounds in one of the most Republican towns in the country, thereby identifying himself solely as holding cultural allegiances counter to those he assumes we've got. He's trying to start something ugly, in other words, and I know of people who've been hospitalised thanks to conversations that start like this. There are five people in the room and all of a sudden the space seems an awful lot smaller.

As it transpired, we managed to bolt before violence, but not before he accused me, among other things, of both calling him a bigot and being a bigot myself. This was an especially creative attempt to start given that my participation in the dispute began and ended with "Brilliant. Weather was good the whole time I was there." Maybe this is secret code for "Hey, f**k you, I'm Celtic!"

The real irony being that I've got such a massive disinterest in the sectarian issue that I wouldn't have cared if he was drinking liquid semtex through a balaclava made out of a Union Jack embroidered with the words "Kill All Taigs". I've just given up caring. The whole thing is cyclical and self-perpetuating, and if it ever ends, it'll be by accident. Whatever is committed and endured by both sides, they love what they do so much they just can't quit completely. Ireland relishes the role of victim and for that, I will always hate it.
