Oh yes princess...indeed where's the middle? and it wasn't just sex...unfortunately it wasn't just that. When I watch a scene between them I have this dark feeling inside me...the "using each other,hurting each other with both physical means and with words" feeling...hate becoming lust...how healthy and mature is this? I would be probably ok with spuffy if it was "listen Spike...I haven't had sex for a long time...let's have fun"...loool!!!:biggrin3: Maybe that would be healthier!

And of course Bangel is not just high school love...if it was, Angel wouldn't be there protecting her in season 4, he wouldn't come back to apologise for his words to her(despite the fact she was acting in a bitchy way), he wouldn't be in Joyce's death to comfort her...If it was high school love Angel wouldn't have spent 3 months in a monastery trying to recover from her death...also if it was high school love Buffy wouldn't admit her love for him in season 7, after 4 years!!!
 
Exactly. I wish it was only sex, but there was so much more.

Spike was selfish, and if he knew how to love another person, another human without a soul, he would know that he is only hurting her. When he realized she's disgusted by him, he went out and got a soul. I think that's stupid, because I don't think scenario "Oi, Buffy, I got my soul, so can we cuddle and love each other and stuff?" wouldn't work with Buffy, but I don't know how writers decided it will. Then it's like Buffy loved Spike only because, and when, he had a soul. She loved Angel when he was Angelus.
Also, Buffy was also unfair.. she knew what Spike feels about her, and she knew she can't return that feelings but she tried to find comfort in him only because she was lost. But in that story I see him as the sain one, and he could've stop him.

I think Selfless speaks all. If people think she wasn't mature then, she was mature in season 7.. and she still loved him.
