Bangel vs. Spuffy

Bangel because of all the anguish they've gone through yet when they are alone that doesn't seem to matter and its just obvious just how much they love one another. Angel can be away but then as soon as he comes back he is at the forefront of her mind, their love will never die in that sense.

Spuffy because after all the sparring they've had they finally realized what a great funny relationship they have in terms of making each other laugh and how Buffy stuck by Spike in season 7. I'am not sure if its love but they do have a special relationship although in my mind not as powerful as Bangel in terms of raw emotion.
 
Spuffngel! I love it. Would this involve Spangel with Buffy involved? Or wait...would the appropriate ship name be Spuffwangel? I'm confused.

Anyhow, I agree with Amy. Even though I think IF there is to be a another 'ship war, having it's own thread is a good idea...I think for the time being we're all a little shipped out. We all love our ships. That won't change. We can't change each other's mind, and everyone knows where everyone stands. Maybe some new members will take a stab at this thread. *shrugs*

Yes, we all know that Keri is the REAL best BB 'ship, but, alas, Buffy Summers keeps insisting that they must be couples featured in the show... *Shakes head*

Surely you've been on the Boards long enough by now to realize that this is a topic that will never be settled. It's a discussion that has been going on since Season 5 first aired if not longer, and has by now literally taken on a life of its own, not just here, but throughout the internet. It's in fan fiction, music videos, and untold numbers of fan websites, has been debated, argued, discussed, and just plain cussed. Graduate students have written papers on it, and actors have been identified with their characters to the point that everything that they have done since the series ended has been compared to their work there.

Decades after Buffy and Spike have married, settled down, and are bouncing fat happy grandchildren on their knees, there will be some stubborn diehards somewhere blindly clinging to the whisp of a delusional hope that Angel might still have just the slightest iota of a chance of taking Spike's girl away from where she was always meant to be.

It really amazes me just how stubborn and delusional some people can be.

AtS did the whole vampires having a baby thing before Twilight. 🙂

I've read plenty of future!fic with married Spuffy with kids. It works. Unfortunately, I can't link to said fics because they have high ratings, lol.

I never said or even implied that Spike would still be a vampire when they got married and started raising a family? We're talking about the guy who won his soul back here. Regaining his mortality would be a snap. He could probably even retain his vampire powers, when he becomes human.
 
The vampire-baby thing was a one time deal thanks to the machinations of a scheming Power that Was.
