I'm gonna start with my very first Spuffy one-shot story, that was written and posted back in 2014 in response to a challenge. Hope you guys enjoy it 🙂

I liked it! I thought the going back in time intervals was very cleverly done.

Nice alternate history Spuffy story. Also, good choice to make it basically a two character story, with support characters acknowledged, but little time wasted on them. Trying to put too many people in this short a story, and do justice to them, would be difficult at best. You acknowledge that they were there, but weren't the focus of the story.

I've read this before and really enjoyed it. I like that Spike and Buffy could bond over their love lives and support each other, even when losing her powers affected her so much. Glad she gets her powers back at the end though 🙂

You are actually right, that after Buffys first death and with Kendras calling the power of the slayer should have been Kendra`s power alone. It makes no sense, that we suddenly have two slayers. Where does the additional power come from ?

I liked the way, Buffy and Spike found each other and that Buffy still fought, even if she was without superpowers. After all, Xander always fought without superpowers. It is not impossible for a human to dust a vampire. I would have loved to see a bit more of them. Not neccessary repeating every episode from season 2 but maybe what they are going to do. They could become some freelance demon fighters for example. Or open up a detective bureau in L.A., now, that Angel has still business in Sunnydale to attend to and probably never looses his soul, because Kendra is not allowed to talk to boys, let alone have sex with them.

You are always comlaining about one-shots. Now I have to find out, you actually wrote one yourself and a very good one. Why don`t you like one-shots ?

Lol, you've made a good point 😛

I like some one-shots, but I prefer longer, more epic stories because there is only so much character and plot growth that you can put in a short story. My preferred one-shots to read are usually pretty damn long. And these days, when I try to write one-shots, I end up with a three-shot or more.

Alright, let's move on to another one-shot, written not long after the first and also in response to a challenge - it was my way of challenging myself to write one-shots 🙂

Oh. Damn. I was led astray by the title. I thought this was fanfiction centered around BB members.

Puppet anxiously logs into Buffy-Boards to see what Bangel has been hating on Spike. To her dismay it was etc etc.

Oh well... if I have learned anything it's to live with disappointment.

I've read Five By Five before and really enjoyed it. I love time travel fics and this was so similar. It whizzed through so much time and there were times I'd have liked a bit more detail, but that doesn't detract from the story. I love Kennedy being chosen at the end too. Oh and banner is great 🙂

@Puppet did you progress to longer stories because you wanted to add more detail into the stories and the one shot didn't give you that option? I feel this story could be an absolute epic if you re-wrote a longer version 🙂

Actually, I started with long stories and then finally challenged myself to do one-shots by accepting fic challenges. It's very difficult for me to keep an idea short, lol. I tried a one-shot last year and now it's, at least, three chapters long, oops 😉

Do you know that that makes perfect sense after reading Five By Five. You are a writer who needs a longer form, the one shot feels too constricting for this story imo 🙂

Other than Spuffy, I tend to switch out couples depending on what the story calls for; for example, if it's set in early seasons, chances are that Xander will end up with Cordelia, but if it's later seasons, then it might be Anya. Same with Willow/Oz and Willow/Tara. So it really depends on plot and whether I can find a way to make Xandelia work later seasons, or Tillow work in earlier seasons, as I favor those pairings.

First, ew to Robin, I'll kill him every chance I get in stories 😛

I'm definitely not a baby-person, so I don't know where that came from; maybe, back then when I was writing it, I connected a happy life with marriage and babies, lol, who knows 🙂
