Oh by the way...if anyone is interested Sky One are airing a brand new St.Patrick's Day episode of the Simpsons tonight at 7.30 pm. It's called "In the Name of the Grandfather". It looks good...although maybe a little bit like The Family Guy episode.

Oh, by the way, did you hear that Pres. Obama is now claiming Irish descent? I guess we'll have to start spelling it "O'Bama" from now on.

St.Patrick's Day celebrates St.Patrick (the patron Saint of Ireland although he was a Wleshman himself) who converted the country to Catholicism.

He used the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity to the people...each leaf represented one part of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), that's why it is synomonous with Ireland and Irishness.

It is also said he ran the snakes out of Ireland but most think that is just a myth.

I can't believe you people, letting papers and college work get in your way of St. Patricks day, this isn't like Christmas, Easter or New Years, there actually is a point to this holiday: One must drink as much as they can!

If that is not a noble and valuable goal, That gives just cause to telling your teachers to shove it, run out into the street and do 9 shots of tequila... Well, Im ashamed of you all...

Paddy's day has been fun. Been in and out of the pubs all day. Went to the parade. Irish danced with some random stranger. Even though I can't Irish dance. Sang "Willie McBride" with some other randomer. Drank a lot of whiskey. Drank some green Guinness. Now i'm swigging bulmers. I know I'm not helping the stereotype, that Irish people are all drunks. But i just don't seem to care. 🙂
