Anyone watch it? I feel the need to discuss the awesomeness of this show!

And if people have watched the UK version- Should I watch that too?
 
I've only really seen the US version and quite enjoy it. I saw the first ep of the UK one years ago but I didnt have access to keep watching it. The US version airs on TV here so its easy to catch. The UK version does apparently too on another channel but I didnt want to go into that halfway through the series.
 
I love being human, I've been watching it since the first season and still really enjoy it.

I've only seen the UK version once, but it felt really cheesy and boring so I stopped watching it.

Yeah i dont like the UK version. too cheesy and i didnt think the actors were very good!
It is perhaps the worst remake I have ever seen. I don't care about the characters and there is no emotional depth or connection for me. The only decent thing about it is the Bishop character (the US version of Herrick).

Sally is dull and boring, not a patch on Annie.
Josh, again I don't give two hoots about him, he is not as endearing as George.
The worst of all is saved for captain cardboard himself 'Aidan'. He was bad enough in Smallville but i'd take Mitchell any day.

I watch this show and feel nothing, yet the UK version has made me laugh and more recently broke my heart. Even the recently aired season (i'm still catching up) where the cast has had some alterations it is still far better than the US version.

Yes, totally agree about the UK version (The original ) every death makes me bawl my eyes out. Every bit of the show makes me feel something. Laugh , smile, cry.

I've watched a lot of TV, and cried at a lot of TV but I can't think of any recent shows that made me cry as much as I did when
Mitchell and George died

I'm halvway through season 2 of the UK version. It's good yes but at the moment I need "lighter" shows it seems. I plan to continue watching at some point. The above, not hidden spoilers, make me want to continue watching even if it may sound weird. Love George the most by a far at the moment.

I'm a bit of a heathen because I've seen the latest series of Being Human UK but no other series. So I really need to go back and start from the beginning! But I kind of don't want to because right now I adore Hal and Tom and if they're not really in the other series I'll be sad without them 🙁 Love it though, I thought it was a brill series!

Me too, me too.
When Mitchell died, I didn't know what to do with myself. I was crying longer than I've ever cried over a character's death before. And then I was like a big baby, crying my eyes out when they killed George off on the first ep of season 4. I knew he was leaving the show, I just didn't know he'd be killed off at the end of the first episode! :/ I can't remember the last time I've cried over a character's death as much as I have with Mitchell & George.

Spoiler on last ep of Season 4.
I was totally sad that Annie finally died, died. That the future Eve creased to exist in that limbo or wherever that was. But it gave me hope that Annie may return for an episode or two when Future Eve said that she knows that she(Annie) has been known to break the rules before. that there's a little hope that Annie would return for an episode or two.

The best way to make spoilers. = Your second one. It shouldn't be that hard to put what the spoiler is about in front of the hidden text.
I LOVE the US version!!! I tried to watch the UK version and it was ok but I just don't care for their storytelling style. I love all the characters on the US version though... Josh is my favorite, followed closely by Sally. 🙂

I only watch the US version and I havent finished season 1 yet but OMG I LOVE THIS SHOW AIDAN IS MY BABY *claims him as mine* MINE!! I'm in love with Sam Witwer though so this may attribute to that...possibly...

But I love all three of them.

See these characters again. Mitchell. George, Nina and Annie. Because I miss Mitchell,George and Nina.

It's like you've invited these characters, the show into your life and these characters are important to you. People may not understand but just like with Buffy & Angel, they're more than just characters. They are real to the fans. The characters are something more.

Amazon has them right?
 
I'm behind on my eps, due to the trip to Disney World... I gotta get caught up 'cause I've missed two weeks now!
