I kind of fell out with Lost when they chickened out and made Kate a good guy after all. JJ Abrams, for all his female characters, just can't write a female character with more than two dimensions. Imagine if Kate had turned out to be a proper baby-eating psycho, wouldn't that have been far more interesting than Miss Mopesalot? Bah. Maybe I just loves me psychos. Also, I'm beginning to wonder if they really are just making up crap as they go along...
... which is an emerging problem for Battlestar Galactica actually. The tricky thing about basing your entire premise, season arcs and indeed, opening credits, around the Cylons having a plan is that you need to have thought of a plan for them to have. Something more convincing than
"Well, they did want to breed us, and some crap about love. And they like God. And Baltar. I dunno. We'll fill in the rest later."

Um, Sydney Bristow is the most un2D character ever. And Kate isn't exactly a good girl. None of the characters are "good". Except Rose, who rocks socks.
