I would say DB and not just 'cause I like him so much, but because I got to saw him do a wide range of emotions on both shows and he did it well. He is brilliant as both Angel and Angelus and also Grace in "IOHEFY." It's true that he didn't have much experience as an actor at first, but by BUFFY's second season, he was great. James Marsters also has great talent, but I think David's work is a tiny bit better for some reason...
 
There both great actors, but I think David is the better actor. He plays Angel and Angelus as if they really are two completely different people, he is really convincing at what he does.
 
I voted James. It was tough because both are great actors. I think David was amazing at playing both Angel and Angelus. I just think overall James is a better actor, he can convey so much with just a look and he's been great in both series from the start with School Hard. I do think David has improved greatly from Welcome to the Hellmouth to his work today. They're both awesome.
 
wow the poll is close, it's hard to pick, they both have their own way of acting, but i see james from the second season of buffy to now on angel, big difference, but then again david does a great job as angelus ::crying:: was hard but i voted james.
 
I went with James. He does the whole accent thing so great, and he just gets to me a way that David doesn't. DB is talented, but I like James Marsters better as an actor/performer.

Not to mention that James marsters also put on a great 'british' accent. ::rolf::
 
I wanted to vote for DB mostly because of Season 2 of Buffy when he was Angelus i thought that was really good!! but i my mouse slipped and acicddently voted JM lol 😀
