Bones: General Discussion

lol I watched The Girl And The Goop last night on TNT. I put it in some of my post in a spoiler because someone might not have seen the episode yet.
That scene when Bones was undressing Booth because his clothes had evidence on them from a man dressed as Santa just having been blown up was priceless. Booth was so uncomfortable and wanted to do it himself but Bones told him that he might destroy the evidence. Booth was stripped down to his underwear and socks. And then Bones wheeled him that way on the gurney because some goop was in his hair. I laughed so hard and every time I think of it I giggle.

best scene ever. That was actually the first scene of Bones my roomie made me watch and it made me fall in love with DB all over again. Seriously, that scene is better than sex.

What do you make of that?

My theory is that Booth tells Hannah about Brennan's confession and she freaks, so in order to prove to her that he's serious about her he proposes. She senses that he wants to get married for all the wrong reasons and turns him down, which in turn makes Booth question his feelings for her. Cue sniper - big upheaval, no shippy episodes for a while. I don't think Hannah dies (that would be too easy); my money is on Wendell. I'm really looking forward to the elevator episode.

Brennan: I insist to know why you are avoiding me.
Hannah: I found out about you and Seely.

What I saw only makes me want to watch the Bones Jan. 20th episode all the more to fill in the pieces. Almost 2 days and 19 hours to go. Hopefully there won't be any interruptions.

I'm hell counting down to! I can't wait for all my TV shows to commence normal screening. Definitely dying to see what happens next on Bones.
 
If you can all Bones fans certainly ought to check out the Gag Reel from season 2 I am laughing my head off. I am kind of fond of the gag reels on any show I follow.
 
🙁 I only got to see about 20 minutes of it because I got interrupted and had to go do something and when I came back to it Bones was over. :*( I am going to finish watching it on hulu or somewhere else as soon as it is available. So I am going to stay away from this thread until I have seen the whole thing.
 
I wasn't impressed by the new ep. I suppose the murder mystery was ok, but seriously, who watches the show for the cases? Clark's new-found inability to separate the spheres was ridiculous (even more than his former broomstick-up-his-bum privacy obsession), Hodgela plain bored me (yay, the rich dude buys his woman a house where someone died in the showerand it's the craziest, sweetest thing anyone has ever done for her - I say the woman needs to watch her superlatives) and as for the Booth/Brennan/Hannah thing - really? That's it? Bones dumps something like that on Booth, he blabs to Hannah and everyone's pals again? Is Hannah a saint? I would NOT have drinks with the woman who has the hots for my boyfriend and told him that she wanted him, no sir!

And while we're on the subject of drinks - who knocks back shots of bourbon like that? Isn't whiskey supposed to be sipped?

I couldn't even sit through the whole ep, I had it on in the background while I answered some emails. It just doesn't warrant full attention anymore. This show needs to be turned on its head asap before everyone dies of boredom.
 
I don't know if there is anything higher than bleh so I will just say double bleh. I watch Bones for a couple of reasons one of which is the crimes in it and this one was just so so.
I only hope everyone associated with the creative end of Bones will turn it around.
 
I miss when Bones had interesting cases each episode. Now it's only become about Brennan/Booth. Pretty much, anyway. I like the Howard Epps episodes, and the Gravedigger, and Gormogon. I still watch Bones and enjoy it, but I just think their cases have dropped in quality.

I've been on other forums and other sites and lots of B/B 'shippers are obsessively fanatic (no offence to any here. I'm sure you're very nice) who want Booth and Brennan to get together right now. Personally (I am a B/B 'shipper), I prefer the early seasons when there was a good balance between the crimes and the character interactions. In Australia at least, all that the promos promote is B/B and the whole "will they? won't they?" thing.

Also, I miss Zach. 🙁

I do want Booth and Brennan to end up together, but I think that once they do the show is finished. Just my opinion.
