Ah, go on then - IT'S A GIRL!!!!! 😀😀😀 WHOO-HOOO!!!!!

The sonographer said, after very thoroughly checking 6 times or so that she couldn't see any boy bits and was 99% sure that it's a girl. Everything else is fine, heart spine, bladder etc and *she* is the right size for how many weeks I am.

I cannot tell you how chuffed we are - I cried when they told me!! I can't wait to see her when she finally arrives later in the year. We know that she will be called 'Evie' after my nan, still not 100% sure on a second name, although we had got 'Lia' at the moment - Andy is now not so sure about that as a second name.🙂

So, 12 out of 18 of you were right!! 😀
 
Congratulations!!!!!!!! I'm so happy for you! Finally, a girl, lol. And that's great that everything is fine.
Hehe, and she also will sort of have the same name as me - I'm Eve - and when I was younger everybody used to call me Evie, and some still do. Good choice, lol!

Congrats again, Anya! I am really happy for you and Wesley, i bet you both are real pleased and now you can start buying lots of pink things for Evie, and i think Evie is a beautiful name!

It's such a boost to buy pink instead of blue and i love clothes shopping for Hannah, i'm spoiled for choice.. she lives in pink and lilac at the moment 🙂 And little Evie will have four big brothers to look after her too 🙂 sweet 🙂

Excuse me? And just what is wrong with the name Lia? It's a friggin gorgeous name if I do say so myself!! Andy...you keep up the indecision, I'll keep calling you and confusing you!! ( I skipped out in the middle of my afternoon lecture to call to say congrats )
 
I'd say you have a pretty good chance of having a girl Anya. It's funny you mentioned that this preganancy has been different than the others, that you'd been sick more etc. My mother and my sister both said the same thing about their pregnancies. When they had boys, they said it wasn't to bad. When they had girls they said it was awful. So I'm voting you have a girl 🙂

😛 I have a ketchup stained top now - and it was one of my only decent maternity tops too! At least it will be a while before she will even be having any type of sauce - just baby puke to contend with until then! Not sure which is worst actually! 'lol'

Yup, agreed the main thing is that the baby is healthy.🙂 It was just an added bonus that this time we are having a girl, and I actually got to go and buy some clothes today for her too! I kept looking at the girls stuff and was expecting someone to come up to me and say' Shouldn't you be looking at the boys clothes' She'll certainly be a trendy little baby when she arrives - the clothes I got her are sooooo cute!
