Maybe its stuff done off screen or she just thinks "They died when young, not much to know." I'm sure she knows about important Slayers but the run of the mill "Called when 15, died when 17" ones they don't care about.
 
I don't know...especially with Season 7 concerning the potentials and most of the season Buffy said things like "My death could make you the next slayer" and so on...you would have just thought that she would have considered whose death brought upon her calling. Name or no name, the girl was still a slayer.

Even though as we learned in "Fool for Love" that Watcher's tend not to document any further past the deaths of their slayers, India's watcher is probably still alive somewhere (if he wasn't hangin at the Council when it went kerblewy) to tell the story. It would have been cool to see Buffy go to him to find out more about her final battle.
 
Ok I JUST just got into the books (oh what I've been missing!) and I was trying to read them chronologically. But I guess you guys don't do that? I read Welcome to the Hellmouth, Halloween Rain, then I couldn't find the next book...so I bought Chaos Bleeds to read (since I've played the game I figured I wouldn't have a problem following along).

So I don't really need to read them in order?

I'm writing down the ones you guys recommended (I really want to read The Lost Slayer series).

Any other recommendations?
 
The Wisdom of War was great. I liked Chosen as well...its basically the Seventh Season of Buffy, but you get more in depth and get to see different characters points of view. But so far the best book I read was The Lost Slayer.

Also, Tempted Champions wasn't bad...it involved a past slayer who was turned...pretty cool concept.
 
I really really want to read Chosen. If anyone has played the game..I'd suggest Chaos Bleeds as you get the internal narrative of the characters, which was really interesting to read after playing the game!

Tempted Champions sounds like a really cool concept! Must check that one out! Thanks!
 
I liked Chaos Bleeds...it helped me a little with the game...I knew what was coming next. Have you beaten the game yet?
 
Chaos Bleeds was interesting..and a good book, also it was a bit helpful in the game....

Jenny: Definitely do check out Tempted Champions...it had a very good story to it...
 
Solitary Man

Has anybody else read the Angel book 'Solitary Man'? The one with the evilish Watcherish dudes and the old lady detective? I was just wondering what you thought. I'd previously read 'Pretty Maids All in a Row' and was really impressed and was sort of let down. I just imagined a lot more funny interactions between Angel and the old lady (don't remember her name...Mildred?). Thoughts?
 
Has anyone else read Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Philosophy??

We should do like a book club...pick a book of the month or something and we can all read it and be on the same page with stuff to discuss....any takers?
 
Well I haven't read BtVS & Philosophy -- but I like the book club idea Cordy_Chase🙂. I think it would be fun, as long as I could possibly take it out from the library as I own none and have no money 😀 So taker from this corner 🙂
 
I have all of the books except Oz and the Evil Willow Trilogy.

I don't have a favourite as they are all good.

There is another Buffy Angel crossover novel comingout soon called Heat, like a continuation from Angel eppy She, with Jheira.

I think a bookclub would be cool 🙂

I've never read Solitary Man myself, have seen it in shops and such. If you ask in the thread theres some pretty dedicated book readers in there.

Oh yes I've been the game with all secrets found and Slayer ranking in each level so I've unlocked everything (the extras!) I love that game though I still prefer the first game!

Tempted Champions....ok must pick that one up! Thanks BillieHunter!!!

I love the idea of a Book Club!!!! 🙂

I think PM'ing sounds like a good idea....then tabulate the results and then post the winner but make sure we give people enough time to buy the book if they don't have it! 🙂
