Buffy and crews knowledge of "Not Fade Away"

How about you re-start this topic when the last issue of season 8 is out and we'll try again to answer these questions? Although I doubt we'll get closure on the whole Angel crew situation. I doubt they will make room for that in these last issues, when it's leading up to the climax.

We'll see 😉

And After the Fall should be read first anyway. AtF takes place before S8, and it's already over.

And personally, I think it's better...

yeah, I feel like it sort of explained it in after the fall, though for a long time while both were coming out I was really really confused about continuity. I wish there was kind of a note about where they took place timewise somewhere toward the start of the series. I'm honestly still not really sure where ATF is placed, though I think it should be read first. Totally not sure about the upcoming/current angel stuff though

Given the fact that we've been told that Season 8 takes place somewhere between a year and a half and two years after the end og "Angel, Season 5," I would assume that during the "After The Fall/Aftermath" series Buffy and her people were still busily rounding up and organizing new Slayers and setting up training facilities sufficient to handle and house them. Two years would seem to me to be a reasonable amount of time to set up an organization such as the Slayers have become. In fact, given the fact that we are talking about a global operation, requiring housing, supervision, support, and, most importantly, funding, what Buffy and her people have accomplished in that amount of time borders on phenomenal, even assuming that at least part of the facilities had been previously set up as Watcher bases.

yeah, that does actually make a lot of sense. I forgot how organized they were when we first peak in on em. Considering they started out with a rickety school bus, they were doing pretty good for themselves.

Of course they already seemed pretty organized in the last season of Angel, so it only really seems like a year from that point (especially cause they mention it in the comics - the fake buffys, etc)
