AAAAH, I loved it! Especially this:

Buffy: Willow, short of an apocalypse, nothing's gonna stop us from going to this party tonight.
Giles: Ah, Buffy! Good. We're having an apocalypse.

It's just like the live action TV show only with cartoons, crazier monsters, improved Slayer strength, and a more child-friendly atmosphere. Damn, I wish a network had picked it up.

I've been waiting for years to see a sample clip for this show. Gotta say, it looks excellent. How could those network chowderheads turn this down? This cartoon would have been a classic.

Pretty good. Is this not coming out then?
The voices sounded almost exact, especially Giles.
Notice how they used the set up from the first few seasons and not the last ones!
 
It was awesome i wonder if this was a turned down pilot hmm...
But it does remind me of one of the comics issues where i think theres a show for BtVS in anime.
 
i really wish that a network would have picked this up. It reminds me of Batman:TAS, where it was a cartoon, but adults enjoyed it too.

Oh my god, dangling this in front of us? It's painful. It looks like it would have been so good, the Animated Series. And I actually laughed out loud at Xander's line of "The harder they what?"

i LOVED that line! :P and also, i want to say i love your banner, since i dont seem to be catching up to it the 'rate the sig' thread :).
Wow that was great, with the original voices and everything! A pity this didn't get oicked up, I would have prefered this over the comics, though I'm not toocrazy about animated stuff either.

It's the old times of Buffy kicking in, I wish it would have been picked up.

I assume to avoid direct searches.
Why was this not made? Even that short is so much better than most of the cartoons and Anime shown over here....

But was it just me who thought the voices were a little...off? Willow was great, Xander was fine, but Giles? I don't know, maybe it's just because they're not used to voice acting, and it was probably done very quickly, but it took a while to settle down I thought. And the silly vampire voice!

But apart from that I thought it was awesome. And such a shame.
 
oh. my. god. i wish there was at least one full episode. my god i loved it!!!! i loved the style and the writing... ugh. thats so...dissapointing.
