Buffy-Boards' Travel Guide

I like France, having only been to Paris once and viewing it from the car its not a bad place.

Although the drivers don't really care if they cut you up, I swear our taxi driver thought his was the only car on the road.

Frenchy: Eastenders is like a 20-30 min drive from Calais.

Alright got it, now I know the whereabouts. I've been to Calais in the past so I can guess in which area the town is located. Thanky for the precision! 🙂

Well i went on a day trip to calais, france when i was 13, dont really remember much of it though!
My first ever proper holiday was 2 years ago, i went to Gran Canaria for two weeks it's an amazing place.
Second trip was to Prague last april, it's a beautiful city and the cathedral is amazing..would love to go back.
Third trip was also last april.. i went to Amsterdam for a weekend with my ex..it was amazing..all the canals and little villages, it was beautiful.
And the last holiday was last august..i went to Barbados for a week with the same ex..all i can say is wow what a place..so beautiful and cultural, the beaches are so gorgeous.
I'm going to Morroco in march and then either Egypt or Cuba in April and the states at the end of march..can't wait! 😀

Here we go.

New Orleans, LA : Food. Jazz. Blues. Audubon Zoo. Aquarium of the Americas. Street musicians. Voodoo. History. Edginess. Really hot and humid. It's the Big Easy, dude! There's nowhere on earth like it. I'll be back as many times as humanly possible.

Las Vegas, NV: Clean. Controlled rowdiness, with security to keep it from getting out of hand. It's the city that wishes it was New Orleans...Nice weather. Gambling and good restaurants.

Cozumel, Mexico Best damn diving/snorkelling in the Northern Hemisphere. The water is so clear, and the fish are just amazing...inexpensive, and the people really want your business...

Orlando, FL: M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E. And Universal Studios. Hoovers money out of your pocket at the speed of sound. 'Nuff said. (What does EPCOT stand for? Every Person Comes Out Tired)

Miami, FL: Architecture/Art Deco. Gorgeous weather. Party Central, if that's what you want, but lots of good food and entertainment of other types too, and the BEACH!

Key West, FL: Quaint, expensive and overrated.

Athens, Greece: This was my dream trip, so I'm hardly gonna trash it, now, am I? History and mythology, archeology and sun. Food is inexpensive and sooooo good. Culture, culture, culture. It was so amazing to see the ruins of the cities I'd read about for so many years. And the people are so friendly. We had a picnic in one guy's orchard. Picked a couple of his fresh lemons which he encouraged, since he "had the best around". So nice!

Calgary, Alberta: Pretty city, but it's damned cold in the winter. Skiing is only 1 hour away, and it's some of the best in the world. Lake Louise is a must see...breathtaking scenery. Rocky Mountains and wildlife. GO FLAMES GO...except that hockey is on strike...🙁

That's it...so far...

I've been to lots of places, turkey is a great place to go, however their are a lot of shop lifters, cyprus is also great but when i went there wasn't that much to do. Another great place to go is the island kos in greece, thats great they have everything. Pattaya in thailand is aso great except there are way too many prostitutes. However the best holiday i've ever been on is to langkawi in malaysia, that island is so beautiful and quiet yet there is so much you can do, you can go eagle watching, fishing, visit bat caves, swim, go to seven wells waterfall, play with monkeys, go to a strange artificial traditional village thing and they have a monorail type thing that goes right over the mountains and you can see a massive jungle that spreads for miles, it really is the best view you will ever see!!!
