I KNOW the show is called "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", the main character being, of course, Buffy, hence the title. But I think, and I may be going out on a limb here, but I think some people would agree, that the supporting cast are what holds the show together. If it was JUST Buffy, it wouldn't be much of a TV show, now would it? Don't get me wrong, Sarah Michelle Gellar does an outstanding job, Alyson Hannigan, Nick Brendon, Anthony Stewart Head and all the rest of the cast do as well, if not better. I'm not bringing down any characters. All I'm trying to get across is that the little parts, Willow, Xander, Giles, they are what MAKE the show the one we all love to watch.
BUT"¦I was watching a Season 2 episode, when I noticed "Hey, they never celebrate anyone's birthday but Buffy's." After Willow so sadly rejects Oz's request to go on a date with her, I felt so bad for her. And in season six, when Amy says "Willow, it's your birthday" and she's like "No, it's not"¦" and then right away thinks of Buffy's birthday.
All I'm really trying to get at here is that the rest of the cast seems a bit"¦under appreciated. Though there are a few special episodes that focus on each character {The Zeppo, Dopplegangland} and each character has their own story"¦well"¦I realise this was a complete waste writing this now. I just was incredibly angry that it's ALL about BUFFY"¦I never even really liked the Buffy character. Of course, this is my opinion, but she seemed dull to me. Only in S6 did she really shine. Her lengthy speeches were annoying, and sometimes, I wanted to hit her, like Ford did in "Lie To Meâ"¦*sigh* oh well"¦
Maybe it's just me...probably...
