Buffy Confessions #2

......I'm weirdly obsessed w Btvs.

Ever since I finished watching, I've started recording every episode that airs on tv and recently every single one of my dreams has been related to Btvs somehow, which is really fun actually 🙂

Two more I've confessed on the board but not here...
-I like Dawn now... except in season 6.
-Dander is really cute... not disgusting

I keep hearing it. That Xander and Dawn are together in Season 8? I have not read any of the comics..don't really plan to. That REALLY creeps me out..What is the age difference?

It creeped me out too... but now I love it.

They're 6 years apart..not that many in the end.
Before I saw Buffy, I attributed the show's fans to ultimate geekhood. Now I don't, but I wonder if non-fans do it to me... and I honestly don't care because now I see them as people who miss the beauty of the world... Spuffy. XD

Totally...And Spuffy karma! :D

See I enjoy being a Buffy geek. I feel it gives my hotness a 3rd dimension and makes me awesome. Yep, I said it - I think I'm hot. Deal with it. 😉

you're just realistic about it. I like a lack of false modesty in gals. :)
- I missed the entire middle section of season 6 when it was first on, but not ever any of the other ones
- the only eps I like from season 4 are Something Blue & I the one when Angel & Riley fight
- I hate Riley and the intiative and Adam
- The eyebrow thing Spike does (esp. season 6, Buffy's b-day when she gets the massage-thing from Willow) would competely obliviate any ability on my part to say "no"
- I hated Dawn the first time through, but now I'm ok with her
- really missed losing geeky Willow
- Season 6 is when i realized what a selfish narcisist Buffy's character can be at times
- I named my daughter Faith, in part because of BtVS & seeing that it could be a cool name & not too religious
- I like bad Angel/Angellus bc good Angel is too angsty & brooding
- I have always had a major crush on Giles, especially "Ripper" & was kinda jealous of Joyce in "Band Candy"
- Since it was first on, I've kinda always dressed like Buffy (not the preppy stuff)
- I totally feel like I've grown up with them, since I'm roughly the same age as SMG and AH

I have another one.
I always dream of being either related to or friends with SMG or JM. Just be in their lives, knowing them, hanging out with them. And them to know me and talk to me daily. I hate the fact that I, well, wasn't born that lucky.

I have a recurring dream that JM and I become superclose and he ends up like a dad to me.
I rewatched S4 recently and Restless disappointed me a bit. I enjoyed Beer Bad and Where The Wild Things Are far more. Then again, I have always thought those two episodes are underrated. Ditto for Primeval.

Now, the two episodes with Faith in S4? I can totally live without them, excluding the Willow/Tara scenes which are great. And I really liked Adam this time around, I wish he had more screen time and better arc. No, this isn't an Aprils' Folls joke. 😀

you are a strange, strange person... and imagine that coming from me!

Restless is good but pretty boring

Isn't it funny and awesome how your opinions can change when you re-watch?

I enjoy both Beer Bad and Where The Wild Things Are and don't see why they're considered bad episodes.
1. I never liked Oz
2. I don't hate Kennedy
3. There isn't a couple that is canon (excluding season 8 😀) that I hate (yes, that's right, connor and cordy too, although they are the couple that I dislike the most)
4. Season 7 is my least favorite season (exluding all the Spuffy scences, of course)
5. I was a hardcore bangel shipper in S 1-3 *blushes deeply*
😀DD

Dislike Oz karma
1. I actually liked Riley. He wasn't my favorite character, but I think it took a lot of courage to leave his career behind the way he did, and, obviously very attractive. Also the only one of Buffy's relationships that wasn't all kinds of messed up. I also really liked season four as a whole.

2. Love Angel, hate Bangel.

3. Spuffy gives me the wiggins. The whole obsession/chaining her up in a cave while he works things out with his ex/building a sexbot in her image/serious fights leading to sex/Buffy punching his face in an alleyway until it's all black and blue/Buffy having to keep the relationship a secret from her friends/overall violence/attempted rape... If that's true love I don't think I want it. To be fair it was better when he got a soul, but it's hard as a viewer to accept after season six, because the whole thing made me all kinds of uncomfortable.

4. I'm a fan of Dandrew.

5. Hated Dawn seasons 5 and 6, loved her in 7. Randomly pulling out a taser? Priceless.

6. Shallow as it sounds... I really wish Nicholas Brendon hadn't gained so much weight. He used to be really hot in the early seasons.

I don't like any of Buffy's relationships, though I quite enjoyed season 4 Riley
I feel that the deaths of characters should have been addressed more
I would have liked more crossover between the Angel and Buffy shows - not necessarily characters but at least mentions of what had happened to the others, they were friends afterall
I thought Xander's proposal and wedding was rushed and made to give that relationship a plot

-I am a HUGE Riley fan (Like the only one around)

-I think Dawn and Connor would have made a really cute couple.

-I also think when Tara left Willow in season six, she should have went to L.A. and joined up with AI and stolen Fred away from Gunn/Wesley

-I'm am SUPER HUGE Cangel fan (as you could probably tell by looking at my banner)

-I'm not a big Illyria fan. I miss Fred.

-I like Kennedy as a character, but hate her being with Willow! Tillow FOREVER!

I agree with the second and third statements :p

Yes on the last one- though I don't mind her with Willow, I'm equal Tillow and Killow. Killow just wins for shock value.

There are a few of us Riley fans around here ;)
I'm redoing my confessions

- I love Illyria, but I also love Fred
- I once called Bangel: Bagel, and Spuffy: Bike
- I wanted Tara to go to LA. I made a thread about once
- I was so bored one day I made a Tara/Fred doodle
- I like Dawn (sometimes), Dawnnor and Dandrew but not Dander
- I only watched Angel once
- I thought Ethan Rayne was cool

Bashing a character is fine, but bashing the character's fans is not cool. Yes, I was offended.

I would be, too. I agree with this on so many levels. Once, someone called me "depraved" because I told her that I enjoyed S6 Spuffy. A fan's choice of favorite characters/storylines is not a reflection of their values/beliefs in RL.

This is not to suggest you are depraved, AT ALL, I really want to stress that, but I actually believe your OTP and fav characters are directly related to your core beliefs in RL. At least mine are.
I used to be a Spuffy fan. I really liked them in S5 and early S6. I actually cheered when they kissed in OMWF. But Smashed basically killed all my love for them in one scene and they just got worse for me from then on.

*Gasp!*
I'm a Spuffy fan in the sense that I like the dynamic between Buffy and Spike and I like the characters as individuals, I don't know if I view them as being in a long-term relationship though, I just like their relationship/dynamic for what it is in BTVS seasons 2 and 4 to 7

-I never really liked Cordelia. On Angel or Buffy. Just never got into her character. And she totally did a 180 the second she got on to Angel, which annoyed me. No gradual change, just completely different.
-I didn't like the Connor plot line. I think they just didn't want to deal with a baby anymore, so they created the Angel/Wesley/Holtz plot.
-I never liked Kennedy. As a character, or with Willow. Don't like her.
-I really liked Andrew. I can see why Jonathan would join with Warren, but Andrew seemed too... ditzy to be evil.
