The Good;
Love all the Invisible Buffy stuff it's just great. Also like Nancy Drew Willow and Buffy's new hair. Love Joanthon standing up to Warren too.

The Bad;
You rather think that Buffy's Slayer healing would take care of whatever the Geeks have done to her, it never seems that much of a threat "She's pudding"?

Best line;
Buffy (as the social worker looks at the bag of grass) "It's not what you think, it's magic weed"

Women good/men bad;
The Geeks again being their sleazy selves. Amazingly it's Spike who kicks Buffy out because she's using him. The girls seem mightily fascinated with Buffy's new hairstyle.

Kinky dinky;
The Geeks plan to turn themselves invisible and sneak into a beauty parlour to watch women get bikini waxes (which hardly seems very erotic to me). Buffy and Spike at it again, especially love the 'Hey that's cheating gag!'. Dawn loves her mother's African fetility statue Kokopelli (jeepers!) and is sorry to throw him out. Buffy appears to have an errogenous zone in her left jean pocket to judge from her reaction when Spike retrieves his lighter. Xander appears to accidentally grab invisible Buffy's breasts in the Magic Shop. She is pretty damn aggressive when she goes to his crypt, almost Angel/Darla style.

Invisible Xander is a common theme

Questions and observations;
Why is Buffy so broke when she has this great big diamond in her possession? Surely she can return it for the reward? What happens to the Invisible Ray? I know in fanfic it's often stashed in the Summers' house cellar in order to save the day in a future episode. Xander and Buffy recall Invisible Marcie from season 1 (whatever happened to her?) Love Buffy's puma t-shirt, her spirit guide? Whilst we often observe that Warren is prepared to sacrifice the other Geeks here he suddenly turns around to find that they've deserted him and taken the Invisible Ray with them. A lot of people find fault with inivisible Buffy's hijinks but she's had such a hard time lately I think she deserves some carefree fun.
Buffy taking on the invisible geeks must make her thankful for Giles' blindfolded training.

Marks out of 10; 7/10, no masterpiece but enjoyable enough
 
Uf, I don't like Buffy with short hair, I like her with long more 🙂 I hate Dawn's reaction when she finds out Buffy is invisible, I sure don't understand it. Her invisible sex with Spike is, well, jucky, I don't seeing Buffy that kinky. She's my hero, I don't like imaging her like a slut who is doing stuff like that.. one is healthy sex life and other is too kinky.

Hah, Buffy in Puma shirt. I like Nike more on her, I'll never forget her adorable Nike bag from season 3, and D&G shirt from season 2 🙂 Yeah, I've always wondered what happened to Marcy. That would make one good episode 🙂

Never consider 'slut' to be a bad thing, never judge people by their promiscuity or lack of it. As for Buffy not being kinky she's done things with Spike he can't even name and he's been an evil vamp for 100 years. Even before that she promised Riley 'outfits' so it seems likely she's played The Stern Headmaster/The Duchess and the Highwayman before. Personally I think Buffy and Angel are by far the kinkiest shows on TV by some chalk
I like her hair although I always think SMG looks better with straight hair. And I don't blame poor Dawn for being a little freaked, it does seem to be one thing after another for her.
And besides, you never 'see' her that kinky it was all implied. I thought Buffy was just holding Spike's hand, what did you imagine she was doing down there?:lmao:

Buffy is not a slut at all.
When I see SMG in sex scenes I always look on the other side, so I think that's more because of that, not because of Buffy's actions. I don't know why, maybe bacause I like her so much.

Not wrong for Buffy to have sex. She's a beautiful young girl in the prime of life and why shouldn't she enjoy all the pleasures her body can bring her? That she's promisuous is no reason to not like her.
I dislike the word 'slut' because there's no male equivalent except stud which is a compliment, it's hypocritical. The whole idea of Buffy is that it challenges the stereotype and advocates female empowerment. Part of that is asserting women's right to control their own bodies and do whatever they wish with them.

I love this episode; it's one of my favorites. I like kinky Buffy.

Plus, this ep sort of gives us an idea of how Buffy is feeling -- she likes being invisible, free of responsibility and judgement.
 
The word 'slut" should be banned on this board. Its just not a very nice word.

I like this episode and I like her hair short, it makes a nice change.

If I had watched Buffy at an earlier stage in my life, I might have thought her promiscuous. But at 22--around the same age as Buffy--all I see is a healthy sexual appetite. Nothing wrong with that. In fact, I admire her for letting herself enjoy sex, because sometimes it seems (to me, at least) that men are the only ones who get most of the pleasure out of it.
 
I absolutely love this epsiode, one of my favourites. The way she doesn't see being invisible as a problem but a chance have some fun. I cracked up when Spike is sitting on the edge of the bed talking to Xander and suddenly his ear lobe starts waggling by itself.

Buffy, a slut? Absolutely not. A young woman in the prime of life who's enjoying herself, knows what she wants and is assertive enough to ask for it. Way to go! I mean, I'm a lesbian but if JM turned up topless on MY doorstep in his prime, I may well have considered "experimenting" 😀

Whoa... I guess you're very different from me there. You hardly get a more erotic, erm, vista than that!


As for Buffy's promiscuity... huh what now, did I miss something? Who else did she have sex with while doing her thing with Spike? If you keep it to one person at a time, no matter how raunchy and kinky your sex life may be, promiscuous it is certainly not. The only time Buffy can even remotely be referred to with that word is in "Chosen", when she smooches Angel while kindasorta being with Spike. That's way more "promiscuous" than anything that ever happened in S6! 😉

And I didn't want to criticize your opinion on what I said above, it simply surprised me, but no evaluation was intended. (Besides, I guess I count as a pervert by most people's definition anway, so I doubt my evaluation would account for much anyway. 😀 )

I don;t like this. Being invisible is very funny yeah...but wanting to get away from life itself is not. Buffy can be with Spike because noone can see them, noone can see HER actually, so no problem according to her. I don't think Buffy as a slut but I do believe some of the moments in season 6 are out of character. Kinky made her feel something(which in my opinion is a lame excuse but I could never know how she felt so i can't be so judgemental) but still...
