Buffy pregnant

Right, I see where this theory comes from and the idea that Dawn could've been the mystical love child of Buffy and Angel is a novel one. Hmmmm... but what if... even through all the passion... what if they used contraception?

what does your sig mean
i dont think dawn was angel and buffys love child- for one thing buffy was never pregnant in any season, another the monk told her that they made dawn using buffys blood, so if they made her obviously buffy and aqngel didn't, and with a story that big it would probably been mentioned in either buffy or angel

Two characters who never met on camera - Angel and Dawn. Although Angel did once get her when he called up 1630 Revello Drive.

The thought of Dawn being created by the union of Buffy and Angel is intriguing, but I think it doesn't fit the actual events of the series. Dawn's blood has to be identical to Buffy's. If she was Buffy's child it would only be 50%.

But yes, I sometimes wonder if the show or shows had gone on long enough, there might have been a story with Buffy becoming pregnant.

A love child bet Angel and Buffy..? no way!

The day rewound period. time went back, different thing altogether in regards to a dimention.

I think this was more a story someone made up because they wanted to...just like any AU fanfic...I don't so much think it was an actual theory in regards to the events as they really occured on the show...I don't think whoever first came up with this thought about it as it may be what really occured on the show...but hey I don't know what they were thinking so I wouldn't know, but thats just what it sounds like to me...

Even if we assume Buffy and Angel had concieved a child that day, then time was rewound but it still happened in another reality, the child would not be 14 years old.

And besides that when Dawn found out what she was, she was technically 6 months old. I could be wrong here, but I dont think the timeline fits.

No, the timeline doesn't fit, the events don't fit, nothing really fits the scenario at all. But it's hard to say something can't happen in the Buffyverse. Heck, there all several examples of time being squeezed or stretched on both series.

Personally I'd rather have things the way they presumably "are" with Dawn being created from Buffy's blood somewhere in her own reality but there is a poignancy to the idea of Angel creating a real human life (Connor is not exactly such) with the woman he loves on the one day he can do it.

It's a pretty thought...

I think it could work. I mean, dude. Think about it. Alright, so the monks do some scrying, or some other monk-y type deal, and found out there was this day that no one but Angel remembers. Turns out, on this day, Buffy and Angel were boinking like weasils. Turns out, on this day, Buffy was freakin' PREGNANT.

Alright, so the monks scry a little more, and they go into the future to find this daughter of Buffy and Angel's. Let's say, she's led a crappy life. Mom's dead, Dad's a recluse, whatever. The monks pluck this girl from an alternate reality and tweak her a little, insert new memories, blahblahblah. It's like she was recreated, because basically she was hollowed out to hold this energy and given new memories.

Or they could just use the basic template of this daughter of Buffy and Angel's, like her looks. Because, let's face it, Michelle does kinda look like a mix between David and Sarah. Anyway, as they create the Key, they take the template for this daughter and make it Dawn's form. Perhaps they even use her name.

It's possible. It just takes a little creative imagineering.

I think what Mesektet said is plausible, i kinda got the feeling that the initial post was hinting in a similar fashion.
Buffy and Angel fertilize an egg. In the Multi-Dimension theory every plausible senario happens, so in one Angel didn't turn back to a Vampire at the end of that episode.
Now, this new life(if it happened...remember infinite universes means infinite situations) would have a soul would it not, possibly Dawn.
The Monks, though powerful, i find it hard to believe they can truly create a soul, so they take this essence and combine it with a Flesh Body created from 100% Buffy material, thus giving us Dawn.
Then as a further spell, instead of creating entirely new memories, all the monks have to do, is break the barrier between two dimension where Buffy does have a sister and converge the memories...remember the Key's main function is this....so its not impossible, though i don't think i have explained it that well.

I'm not so sure. If it was a "simple" as inserting the key energy into a person, why wouldn't they just do it to Buffy? I think the origin of Dawn has to be solely from the key.

I've never liked the idea of infinite realities..

Right..which would explain why Joyce..had so many problems with believing..or whatever..that Dawn was her daughter..maybe that is why she got sick..maybe it just wasn't they created a daughter..but the daughter was never really made from..her..but buffy..

Well the timeline doesn't fit..the monks never said when..where..they got dawn from her..all they had said was they created her from Buffy..they never mentioned the mother..which is odd..or did they?

Plus Connor ..aged pretty quickly..I don't really remember how that happened..so..well anyways
