Now I'm no anti-Buffy but I am whenever she appears in the Angel episodes. She's such a bitca! Particularly in Sanctuary. Faith was willing to make things right and all Buffy could think about was what Faith did to her. Basically IMO Buffy was all "me, me, me".

I'm glad Angel stood up to her by slapping her and then telling her its HIS town.

Sorry I sound harsh but I really don't like Buffy in Angel.

I remember discussing this a few months ago and I completely disagree with you. Faith did not deserve any respect or sympathy from Buffy. Faith really screwed Buffy round, even before Faith tried to kill everyone that Buffy cared about and tried to steal her life and body. Buffy fans seem to be so harsh on Buffy all the time, and let so many other characters get away with murder. Literally. I don't understand it.

Just because Buffy didn't know exactly what was going on didn't make her wrong. In the end she did back down and leave the decision to Angel so no harm.
I totally agree with you, Buffy was out of order, coming in there and trying to be the boss, and plus she slapped him, Angel did nothing wrong so Buffy was wrong.

Oh yeah, she was totally wrong!

Actually, when she gets jealous, she is more bitc** then eeeever

Yeah I hate Buffy in that Epsiode but you can understand her reaction. I hated the horrible comment she made to Angel before she left that was bang out of order.

she did seem out of order, but then when i think about what faith had done and all she had put buffy and everyone she cared about through, i can totally understand her reaction and see how she was justified in how she acted.

Additionally put yourself in Buffy's shoes. She was violated in the worst possible way imaginable. Faith basically body raped her. You dont just get over that.....

Yes, but at the same time Buffy should know she's not in Sunndale anymore.

She had every right to be as angry as she was but she should've let Angel handle the situation.

I could never understand the problem with that bit.
Buffy went to Angel thinking she was going there to try and protect him.
But was suddenly faced with her enemy wanting to atone for her wrong doings. Buffy reacted the way most people would. Thing is, she soon did her best to help and protect Faith, the scene on the roof.
Angel wanted to protect Faith and stood his ground against Buffy to convince her of his intentions and Faiths intentions.

I was on Buffy's side and I love Faith! It's just Faith has to deal with her dirty laundry before she can move on, you can't just be sorry everything will be ok. IMO Buffy had every right to come after Faith, it's not like Buffy/Angel have jurisdiction, they just happen to live in certain places. Faith is Buffy's deal more than she is Angels.

She felt threatened, jealous, and worried even about Angel and whether Faith was pulling a fast one on him, and she overreacted. But given the situation and her history with Faith, i don't blame her. You gotta think of it in her perspective. Yes i agree i kind of want to slap her myself lol but then it's like, given everything, i understand.

Love Faith, but the last time she played the i'm so sorry, i need redemption card, with angel. she tried to take away his soul. Not long after that, she put an arrow through his chest and poisoned him, Buff didn't trust her, and especially not with angel, she was there to protect him. And get some justice for herself, faith did violate her body. I think buffy had every right to be pissed, and extra pissed when angel sided with faith.

I wonder if people could search for this type of thread before starting another, I say this because this the fourth thread about the same thing.

My own opinion is that both of them were not seeing things from the other's perspective, and like I have said before, Buffy did not know wen to back off dispite knowing what Angel was trying to do, she was focasing on her vengence campain, and although I don't blame her for feeling that way, she should of realised that Faith was ready to help herself, and want redemption, Buffy's feelings blinded her.

I think Buffy was way harsh on Faith, but it was completely understandable. I remember watching those episodes thinking "Damn, Buffy! If Angel believes the girl's trying to change, shouldn't you trust that and give her a LITTLE slack?" but then I put myself in Buffy's shoes and realize she has every right to be completely irrational when it comes to Faith. Look at all Faith did to her, and not just in that little Buffy/Angel crossover thing. They had history long before this and it's completely natural that Buffy would want nothing but punishment and pain for her. But at the same time I watch the episode and think the writers could have done it a BIT differently 'cause Buffy did come off way harsh. But again, she had that right to, so I guess I can just see it from both sides.

Buffy was totaly justified with how she acted. How would you react to someone who started out as your friend, betrayed you, tried to kill you and friends numerous times, went into a coma, woke up, you try to make amends only for them to attack your mother, switch bodies with you against your own free will, screw your boyfriend, and run away. I would say that Buffy was being nice with holding herself back from hurting Faith when she saw her in Angel arms.

Now I'm no anti-Buffy but I am whenever she appears in the Angel episodes. She's such a bitca! Particularly in Sanctuary. Faith was willing to make things right and all Buffy could think about was what Faith did to her. Basically IMO Buffy was all "me, me, me".

Right so you would have just ignored the fact that Faith was a murderer and had recently stolen your body and slept with your bf?

I'm sure you would.

It wasn't Angel's town. The last time I checked he didn't own LA.

That's the way I see it, they live in certain areas but they don't have official jurisdiction like police or something. Faith was more Buffy's deal than she was Angels, regardless of their intentions.

I actually hated Angel in that ep for DEFENDING Faith...would anyone behave differently if they were Buffy? To me, if someone had done to me what Faith did to Buffy, they could apologize for the next 10 years and I'd still want to kill them.

Angel didn't defend Faith over the body switch/ruin Buffy's life, it was because he saw her brokeness and need for redemption that he HELPED her make the first step, he was the killer when his body was hosting only Angelus, and he KNEW what it was to scew your life over and everyone elses, and THEN feel that remorse, and the NEED for forgiveness which was what Faith needed, that's why he didn't give Buffy's need for vengence the time or day, because she couldn't UNDERSTAND the above. IT WASN'T ABOUT BUFFY. Yes what Faith did was terrible, Buffy had EVERY right to feel P***sed, but *NOT* THE RIGHT to go and try to BALLS up his attempts to help Faith change which is what she was doing. Which is why he got mad and I would too if I were in his shoes.

I completely disagree with you. He didn't defend her ACTIONS, per se, but he did defend HER. If I were Buffy, I wouldn't give a damn if the bitch wanted redemption, how is that her problem? Buffy had a right to kick Faith hard in the face, and Angel tried to make her feel like a piece of crap for WANTING to kick her hard in the face...which was NOT his right.
