I doubt TV will kill me. It's much more likely that I'll die from lung cancer or alcohol poisoning or a car accident. So I'll keep watching as much TV as I like.

Let's do the math. 144 episodes total, with each being about 44 minutes long on average... 144x44=6336. 22 divided by 60= 0.366666667. 0.366666667x6336=2323.2, divided by 60=38.72, 38.72 divided by 24= 1.61333333. Buffy only slays 1.61333333 days off of your life by itself! But this doesn't count Angel, Dollhouse, etc. and doesn't include rewatches.
And this might not even be true, anyways.
