(thank god i got that of my chest) lol

Thank god there's someone else with my opinion! I love Buffy and Spike as a couple. I keep saying this but she loves him. I know she does. lol

Now all I need to wait for is the finale of season 7 and hopefully it will be a happy Buffy/Spike ending.

I think Angel and Cordy make a wonderful couple too.::heart::

Yeah totally agree.

It's not that the sex scenes bothered me. They just wasted a whole lot of valuable time. They shouldn't be showing it just because they think pushing the limits equates to quality, they should show it only if it is needed by the story. Personally, I don't think the graphicness of the scenes did anything to help the story. They could have left out alot and got the point across well enough, and moved on to other scenes.

It's not exactly like I needed the crew to give me a brush-up on how it all works.

As annoying as the Spike/Buffy sex scenes were they were no where near how aweful the Riley/Buffy scenes were. I am not a Spike fan but after seeing the last episode I can see that he is the only one behind Buffy so i guess their relationship no longer bugs me.

But I agree with the consensus there was far too much sex in season 6.

Yeah, he's always been behind Buffy. But he's also been on-top of, underneath, on front of, and to the side of Buffy.

What's with the Spuffy. Are you all NUTS? Wasn't the whole sex thing (and incidentally, lucky Buffy) about feelings and how cold and alone Buffy felt when brought out of Heaven. I think some of you have somehow missed the point.

I was looking forvard to the first time Spike and Buffy were gonna have sex. But after thesecond time I GOT REALY MAD (Maybe I was jelous) but still it started getting old.

I liked it. mwahaha. I kinda like how we see the darker side of Buffy. Something about the slayerness, there has to be a dark side.

yeah i did notice that too. there was alot of sex and not just that but the whoel Buffy/Spike thing got really old after a while. yeah, there wasn't a while lots of slaying and vampires in season 6...

I agree that alot of people were missing the point Joss was trying to make with all of that. I for one loved season six and thought it showed a side of Buffy that was more real than anything I have seen. I identified with her character more that season than any other. They were dealing with things that needed to be delt with and that was just the way Joss decided to do it. I think he did a great job.

Well to me that was just Buffy trying to feel and be apart of this world like she said in an episode and the sex was just way to graphic to me and to me I didnt really relate to her whole sex thing I related to basically everything else though. It definatly wasnt the buffy we knew and we see that;that isnt really who she is

No, it's not WHO she is but it's about something she's going through and the way you handel a situation says alot about a person. There are many sides to one person and she...uugh, nevermind. I understand it myself but I can't think of the right way to put it. Sorry. Just trying to clarify but I don't think I can.

i think the sex scenes were important to show what Buffy was going through after returning from the grave. I didnt particulary like them but life cant always be peachy keen and thats what it was showing, there was nothing beautiful about buffy/spike, that was the point it was disgusting and messy. Not everything revolves around "love".

I agree with the first part and to a degree with the second. 6th season wasn't really showing a healthy side of Buffy. Her and Spike's relationship was symbolic of how confused and lost she was but that doesn't mean that is all their relationship has been. That it didn't grow into something more. I think they really came a long way as people and, because of each other, are better for it.

I think it was a psychological thing. I read this whole thing once about how sometimes (not to be icky or anything) people want sex after a funeral or any other reminder of their mortaility because it's a way to reaffirm that you're alive. Buffy felt dead when she came back at the beginning of season six, and Spike was there for her and the person she confided in. It makes sense.

The only sexual scene I had a problem with (a HUGE problem, actually) was the attempted rape. It made me hate Spike for a long time, and the issues it could have raised with the characters were never dealt with enough. It was like some passing whim Joss had.

I loved Spuffy and had no problem with the sex scenes, I loved seeing them, some of them were sexy like Smashed and some stuff in Dead Things, some kind of disturbing (like in DMP) but they went with the story (plus ok i love Spike alot, he's pretty hot). But besides that I agree with other people it was exploring Buffy's dark side, and it wasn't all supposed to be pleasant. I thought season 6 was great though, and later on I think both Buffy and Spike had a healthier relationship they just needed to work on their "issues"🙂

I likes d season 6 loads. I didn't care about the amounts of sex and the slaying. Either way Buffy is still great
