buffy the vampire slayer or tru calling

I think it's too soon to tell. We've only had one episode of TC. Doesn't really give a lot of time for major plotlines and character development to surface. 😉
 
I agree that it's a bit too early to tell, there is only so much that can be done in a single episode. But so far, I like Tru. But I don't see a lot of reason in really comparing the shows, they are very different shows.

It would really make more sense to compare Tru to a show that is more like it, such as perhaps Early Edition, or something of that nature. Or even something like Joan of Arcadia... which I think has a more similar consept to Tru then Buffy.
 
tru tru i agree its to hard to say which one is better but so far i think tru calling is going to rock this year because there's to many fans of tc here im sure of it tooo.. but you i know its to early to tell but in your opinion what do you think tc is going to be like in the future??
 
now i have seen the second ep... tru calling has gotten a lot more interesting so i have to say i prefer Tru Calling to Buffy
 
I still think that its way to early to judge two shows like these. One of whom has had 7 years and the other which has aired only 2 episodes.
 
I have to agree with everyone else in saying that it's too early to tell. I like what I have seen so far of Tru Calling, but I have to say that Buffy is the better show.😎
 
Two eppys of Tru Calling...Seven seasons of Buffy...no way can I make a fair judgment....obviously, I think Buffy since I spent seven whole years watching the character development...

Thats my sentiments exactly, Buffy is something that we've grown up with, I mean I was in high school when it aired, and now i'm nearly finished university. I think thats why people love it, as well as it being brilliant, its the fact that we've grown up as its grown up.
 
They are completely different shows, I don't think you can really compare them. Both are great shows in their own right 😀

they are totally different, tru calling is not a superhero show and its a lot more realistic to buffy...
 
It depends on the Season. If I count S1-S2 of Buffy and none of the others then yeah Buffy is better, but if I count S3-S7 (Which I really didnt like much at all) then Tru Calling is better!
 
i like them both- two different shows and you actually
get to see more of eliza on tru then you did on buffy
which is a cool thing...
 
Well i wouldnt say that, some new shows that are poping up are becoming better. Dont get me wrong i love buffy but things like everwood, if that keeps going the way it is then i may end up likeing that more
