Buffyisms: You can work into a conversation

Most of my friends dont know Buffy so i get away with them. Most of the ones i se is:

Bored now
I Mock you with my monkey pants
I laugh in the face of danger...then i run and hide till it goes away
'wiggin'
what is your damage

now being scottish and saying these things you get some dodgy looks. As i'm sure Spike Lover can confirm.
 
I don't know if this counts as a "Buffy-ism" But I often use Willow's line from Dopplegangland where she says:

"I'm storming away now...it doesn't really work if you follow me."

Or something along those lines.

* Ich Factor

* Mom hair

* Frog fear (I use this for intense fear, like "I have frog fear of heights")

* poseable (I use this when I find a woman hot)

* Run! Hide your babies and your beadwork!

I would be surprised not to get some dodgy looks with lines like that! Lol. I think its magnified living in 'good ol' bonny scotland' (F.Y.I. to all non-Scots - no one in scotland really uses the word 'bonny' in general conversation 😉), but i think many buffy-isms would get you strange looks anywhere!

I always use:

"I Mock you with my monkey pants"

"Doodle I do doodle, u do doodle to"

my friends do not understand my language, I tell them to watch tv, I also use Zenon Girl From 21st century words that seems to confuse ppl
 
What about rats? Could I have frog fear of rats. Those little guys give me the wiggins.
 
"Bloody" could be used in a sentance.
I say "Bored Now" a lot
another one is "This world id no fun"
I heart Vamp. Willow
 
Does anyone find themselves using British slang, or what I've taken to calling Spikeisms. Stuff like:

wonky, bloody hell, bint, sod off, little bit, niblet, fag off, shut your gob, Nancy-boy,

Lately they've been finding there way into my conversation. My fellow Canadians seem to think they're kind of cool. They're catching on.
 
"Five by five."

"Oh, I think I do that!"

"To read makes our speaking English good."

"Sometimes I shouldn't say words."

"Bloody hell!"

They sneak into my conversations too...i either sound really stupid and get stared at, or I say it with the accent and get hit for using an English accent and not being english 😀

I say this all the time

I am also guilty of using quite a bit of Spikeisms, although that is probably from reading way too much fanfiction
 
Here's one I hope no-one ever gets a chance to use:

Remember in Bargaining 2 when Spike is angry at Dawn for running off on him.

He's telling her how crazy mad with worry he is at her, and he says, "I mean it. I could rip your head off and drink from your brain stem."

I'm not sure that's one you'd want to use on your 5 year old when he breaks the cookie jar, though.

i use words that end with "age" and a happy or get a happy for... well, being happy!but i don't have many channces to dothat, for my mother tongue is not english.
 
I DO find myself using British slang...."well that's a piss in the pot" AND "wanker" WHAT A GREAT WORD!!!


AND

I do find myself addicted to BBC AMERICA. Graham Norton and another favorite, Coupling(that's show hysterical!!)
 
This isn't Buffy, but did you ever see the little british boy character Mike Myers used to do on SNL. He was all the time saying, "You just want to look at me bum". That's quotable.

Mike Myers should write for Mutant Enemy. That would be nifty.
