Canadians vs Americans

That's my life! Be it goose poop or fish guts... ugh
From my exposure to, well living in Canada, unless your traveling on the highway (free way) you will see geese everywhere. And they're a pain in the ass to eat with those long necks. Also, in a nutshell, wildlife services had to be called to move a Canadian goose and it's egg off work premises. They told my boss to not disturb it at all until they get there, as the goose has enough power in it's wings to break bone.

Ha. There are parts of Canada and the US I'd love to visit. America gets a bad name, which I'm guessing can be pretty frustrating if you live there. Not every American citizen is how the global media portrays them. Both beautiful countries. My Canadian friend is legit the friendliest person I've ever met - I had to take her aside when she moved to study in Edinburgh, and say like, "don't, like, talk to everyone.. not everyone is as friendly as you!".

but I heard the Scots were super friendly too? I was in London talking to strangers, of course, and met a fellow Canadian who told me it was the only place he felt at home due to the equally friendly people. He took a taxi from the airport to his hostel and when the taxi driver found out he was travelling alone he invited him out to dinner. Scotland's on my places to see list because of that story.

Oh we are, definitely. But my friend is almost like, dangerously friendly. She is so nice I was scared she'd get taken advantage of. She was living in a hostel at first, then moved to student accommodation. She absolutely loves Edinburgh, and loves Glasgow even more, she stole one of my best mates and took him back to Canada as her boyfriend, so there is a lot of love, it's possible she was slightly naive due to her age (that scared me).

Ha, had that talk with an American friend here who wondered why people kept staring at him like a madman when he tried to talk to them on the subway. Lord... they thought he was a madman! On the subway, tsk tsk tsk... he was like... aggressively friendly, if that makes sense, lol. At least by Swedish standards. But we could learn a thing or two from that!

That's pretty much it! Scotland is very friendly. Mostly when we're drunk. At the weekends. Not when we're hungover. Although very friendly when it's sunny and warm (but again; drunk).

love that! I went to Paris, Dublin and London with a group of Rangers (Girl Guides/Scouts or what ever your country has) and we were aggressively friendly everywhere we went. Half the kids were in french immersion, you should have seem them trying to force the Parisians to talk to them against their will. Good times!! The French were good sports but kept trying to switch to English and the girls kept begging them to let them to answer in French.
 
@Blaze western Canadian French is pretty unique, it's a blend of France French and Quebec French with half the teachers imported from Quebec and half the teachers Anglos who learned it through the BC school system. The girls thought they were proficient speakers but the locals seemed to think they were released from a mental institution. Most of the girls had done about 10 years of schooling in French but spoke English at home. But in all 3 cities we met lovely people who kept telling the girls to zip up their back packs and to not leave bags unattended. Pretty much everyone thought we were just looking to be robbed but we got through on our good Canadian karma.

Yikes and Paris is not the place to do that, Parisian tend to hate the Canadian accent, and that's for French Canadians, not even people learning French!

I'm glad you specified, because I started having some crazy ass ideas as to how that could happen to Oz....

Off topic a bit, but Oz's monkeys were no way as creepy as our actual Black Thorn mascots.... THE WHEELERS!
