I actually enjoy cemeteries - while there is a bit of a creep factor - they are beautiful peaceful parks most of the time. My father used to take the whole family to cemeteries on days like Memorial Day just to wander around and pay respect to the deceased, check out cool grave stones, etc. They are also very cool places to learn about an areas history and some cemeteries are full of famous dead peeps which can be cool to see. As a teen we would go to the old cemetery in my town to hide from the parentals.
Now, this is MY experience. I took a boyfriend with me to check out a cemetery I'd never been too. I was driving and I drove my car through the gates and he completely lost his sh-t. "what are you doing!?"
"I thought we could check out this cemetery"
"why! why! I don't want to be here! why would
anyone want to
hang out in a cemetery"
It went back and forth with us both being incredulous and he basically yelled until the car was out of the park. So I think its a mixture of your life experience, your view of death and your culture that may play into how you feel about a cemetery. They were normal places to visit in my family but to others that just seems plain crazy.

I want to be buried without a casket. I'd like my nutrients to actually become useful and contribute to life on Earth. I want to decompose naturally, in a way that provides ecological benefits.
That sounds cool - your loved-ones could plant a tree there and your vessel would nourish the tree and you'd be a part of this beautiful natural thing that others could visit and enjoy instead of a tombstone - cool idea.
I don't know what I want my peeps to do with my body - I can't separate the alive sensation of being buried or burned from how I will (or won't) feel when I've moved on.
They can turn you into a diamond too - I always thought that was pretty neat. They take your ashes and make you into jewelry for one of your loved ones to enjoy.
