I remember I nearly had a heart attack when I saw a few clips of it on youtube. I was like, "WHAT??? BUU BUU HE!!! AND AAND NEUGH!!" It was like a pot of Buffy GOLD to me. Lorne and Spike and Tara and James in a dress *sniggers* Awesome movie.

I just saw this movie on Youtube. It's one of the worst movies I have ever seen.
Low budget pretentious movie with horrible acting, except for Benson and Marsters, it was just soooo bad..

And it was weird listening to James Marsters without the British accent...

It wasn't that bad. You gotta remember, they had a very very very very low budget, made with a students camera, and they filmed this in 10 days because they were pressed for time because both Amber and James were shooting on Buffy. Also, they ran out of time trying to find the leading role. Amber wasn't supposed to have done it, but she had no choice. She was only supposed to try her hand at directing.

Although I do agree that it's very crappy quality, the acting and the awesome script make up for that. It's easily one of my favorite films Amber Benson has starred in and directed herself.

And yes, it was weird listening to James without the accent 😛

Yes, low budget usually results in bad movies. I just didn't like It, I thought Amber Bensons character was so annoying..

James American accent sounds so fake like he's trying too hard or something, it's weird that thats how he actually talks.
It was weird with Andy Hallet too, I kept hearing Lorne's voice, but I didn't see him.😛

That woman that they think has died, was that Nick Brendons ex-wife?

Ok, so I just watched this on youtube. I'm used to seeing low budget film student stuff because I help out with the film classes at my high school so I'm less sensitive to seeing the low budget student stuff and saying it sucks. I think for a very low budget student film shot in 9 days, it was really good. James and Amber were great. I LOVE the character of Simon. For a bit, I was worried they weren't going to end up together... I'm glad they did. I absolutely loved James in a dress.

I don't think it was weird hearing him without the accent. I've watched too many interviews and videos of conventions for me to think it's weird to hear him without the accent.

But it was really weird to see Andy Hallet not be green and no have horns.

Hey! I've seen a lot low budget films too you know, ever heard of Ulli Lommel? 😛
and they do suck, mostly. Sure for a movie with no budget, shot in 9 days with really bad actors it was okay for that standard, but I don't grade movies that way, a bad movie is bad movie IMO. 😉

I just think you can't grade a really low budget movie shot in 9 days on the same level as a high budget hollywood movie shot over many months.

Something else I forgot to mention in my initial post was how funny it was to see James make out with the mirror. I had to pause and laugh for a good while.

Have it, loved it. However, I think if it didn't have Amber and James in it, I wouldn't have enjoyed it nearly as much.
