Mesektet Ra
a walking insurrection.
Spike dreamed, deep in his concussion. There were images - images of slaughter, Drusilla, Angelus, Darla. His memories crowding his mind. Drusilla's face, smeared with blood, a grin of maniacal, delirious glee plastered across her face. Angelus punching him until his eyes had swollen shut and the taste of his own blood was thick in his throat. Darla and her angel's face, grinning that soft grin of dangerous intent.
"Willy, wake up. Wake up, Willy."
There was a hand on his shoulder, and a familiar voice. The memories were flooding him again, making his head throb, taking up too much space in brain.
He wrenched forward in one move and roared thunderously, vamping in a second. He was nose to nose with Drusilla.
"You finally get what you wanted from me, you loony bint? Did tearing my bloody head open solve your sodding dilemma?" His words dripped with rage, the pain in his head growing more red-hot with every word. His voice was like acid in the air, burning the scant centimeters between him and Drusilla. He was panting, even though he didn't need the air. His rage fueled his blood as his hands curled into fists.
