Christmas

The thing I don't like is the food promotion, encouraging people to buy tubs of chocolate, having sales on it early so that people eat it and then think they need more, it's the same with all the junk food, bigger packets of it all. I get that people do tend to get more visitors, but still it's ridiculous!

it's a good job we are not from 30 years ago as them drawers were slang for an article of clothing that one was wearing. And Taake would never do that as Taake is a nice person (I had to say that or she beat the crap outta me) As for what you said Nix about Taake, *drags Taake kicking and screaming,*

Did you all notice the complete lack of foresight by nightshade, she has finished wrapping all the presents she has bought so far, with a bit of foresight she could have wrapped the presents she still needs to get.
 
Might have to have another wrapping session tonight, but I'm nearly done. I've really tried to not go online or to the big stores this year, going to as many independent shops as I can instead.

I didn't manage to purchase a full 24 packages for my niece this year, so I've decided to switch from an advent calendar to every Saturday and Sunday until Christmas instead (that's 8 presents instead of 24) which means I'm done since I'd gotten 12 gifts. The other four will be wrapped up and given to her on Christmas night. So now all I need to get is some H&M clothing for her, so she'll have one somewhat expensive gift (the others were very cheap) and I'm set. I've already told the rest of my family that I won't be giving presents this year, except for my niece. So I'm almost done shopping before I've even begun 😀

Since it's meant to pour down with rain tomorrow I'll have a card making session, get all those done and find addresses for the ones I have to post. I still have two people to buy for but I get paid Friday so that'll be done next week.

Loving that the radio has now started playing Christmas songs.
I need to package up the gifts to be posted,then they will be going on my next day off.

I am so disappointed at Nix's attitude, those claims that she dragged Taake kicking and screaming (#42) into the dungeon. You mean our Taake, she who the members of early Black Thorn referred to as the Masochistic wonder, she who would happily spend all day in the dungeon.
She may have been kicking, but only in as much that she wanted to get on her feet, and screaming for joy at the fun that was about to be. The chances are Taake will like you for taking her there, force her to do underwater swimming she really likes that.
